Rspec 1.0.8 with Rails 2.0
Is it OK to go ahead and generate a Rails 2.0 project with RSpec 1.0.8? Am I likely to run into problems? Would it be best advised to wait or can I go ahead now? NAT traversal packet loss measurement
How can one measure the effect of NAT traversal packet loss? We currently have no solution for NAT traversal for our SIP clients. There is no doubt that packets are getting lost. What is not clear is how much damage this does. On the face of it, everything seems fine. Could this be so? Perhaps we're suffering a degradation in quality or our call setup times could be improved. How can we

Where did UJS go? UJS vs. RJS
I have not been able to access the UJS site, http://www.ujs4rails.com/ for two days. Does that mean there are problems or that it has been incorporated into Rails core? In general, what do you think of using UJS instead of RJS? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google

Winbind - NSS problem?
Hello all, I have a very old samba server, successfully migrated from 2.11 to 3.x, then now to 4.8.0 while the windows userbase went from workgroup to AD, now on AD 2008R2. Everything seems to work flawlessly till a new user was added to the AD. From my samba server I can't see it in the getent passwd list (the others are all there) tough wbinfo -a newuser%password says: plaintext password

new ogg stream
Thomas was gracious enough to provide a second stream of his beats.dk vorbis broadcast. http://vorbis.arkena.com:8004/test.ogg is 128kbps http://vorbis.arkena.com:8004/test_64.ogg is 64kbps Now even us lowspeed dsl people can enjoy :) Everyone should give a listen to the 64kbps and see what they think of the quality (it's being reencoded from 128kbsp Ogg). jack. --- >8 ---- List

Icecast not listening ports?
Hey guys, First time using a mailing list, hopefully I've done it correctly. I've installed Icecast, and configured ports 8008 and 8009 in my icecast.xml file and started the server with icecast -b -c /etc/icecast.xml Icecast then loads and I can see the process in the command 'top' However, I can't access it with my domain URL, I have Shoutcast setup on this server on

asterisk DTMF detection
Hi, Hi All, I've just delved into the world of asterisk and I'm having a few dtmf issues. Internally, amongst sip phones, dtmf is fine. Externally, if you ring from a GSM mobile, DTMF is fine, however if you ring from a standard phone, DTMF fails to register. I am attempting to use a quad port HFC-4S Beronet Card. I've been searching the web most of the last week and

That was it! As a workaround I've changed range setting it to 800-9999 and it works! I'll review the smb.conf after upgrading to samba
