Problem with TDM2400 and Polycom 501... Voice Quality Lost...
Hi List... I have an asterisk box with one TDM2400, it has 8 FXS's and 12 FXO's, and it also has the echo canceller... I'm running Asterisk 1.2.13 and Zaptel 1.2.12 with the Kernel 2.6.9-34.0.2.EL I'm using Polycom's 501 with the SIP 1.6.2.0041 The problem is when someone dials to or from the PSTN through the TDM2400, the voice quality is crappy...Instead of hearing:

TDM2400 card FXS problems
We have a recently deployed server with a new TDM2400 card that will not put dialtone or audio on FXS ports after the physical server restarts (though they will ring if called, there's just no audio on the line if the phone at the other end picks up). The symptom can be resolved by stopping Asterisk, restarting DAHDI, and then restarting Asterisk. So far, this has happened on both times the

TDM2400 Hardware Echo Cancel
Good Day List, I'm having some issues with echo cancel on my Asterisk box, and have done extensive reading and have gained some useful pointers from this list but have a couple of hopefully fairly simple questions. The Asterisk box is connected via 20 FXO ports on a TDM2400 with the Hardware echo cancel module. Echo cancel almost works, but the users hear what they describe as a

[LLVMdev] Reflexions about a new HDL language
If you're designing a new high-level HDL, then it would be a good idea to familiarise yourself with the state of the art in this area (e.g. Bluespec System Verilog, Symbolics Processor Designer, and similar tools). Starting from comparisons to VHDL and Verilog is like designing a new high-level programming language today that is designed to be a better high-level programming language that is

Is fax bridging with TDM2400 working (or about to work) ?
Hi, >From a chat with Kevin Fleming during last Astricon Europe in Paris, I understood that Digium was about to support TDM bridging with TDM2400 board. This feature had to be introduced with 1.4 release. Is my understanding correct ? If correct, would it be reliable enough to bridge 14400b/s fax calls though I know, fax were not officially supported or shall I use Sangoma boards for that ?

Prog running in Wine OK but needs Alt+F10 to maximise.
Hi I've got 'WriteOutloud' (talking wordprocessor for dyslexic children) working pretty well on an Asus Eeepc (Xandros) and on an Acer Aspire One (Kuki Linux) I'm using Wine 1.0.1 on both machines. What happens is that the prog starts up normally then immediately minimises to the taskbar. To make it run fullscreen you have to click on it and press Alt+F10 Although not a serious

[LLVMdev] Do we abuse the "nsw" flag
Hi, There: Clang fails to compile 254.gap @ CPU2000int suite. The symptom is that executable fail to run with reference input. The root cause is that the compiler mistakenly optimizes expr "x * y / y" into x where the x*y is blindly flagged with nsw without any analysis. The preproceeded code is excerpted bellow: cat -n integer.i --------------------------------- 2361

[LLVMdev] Reflexions about a new HDL language
Hi, For the synthesis backend which translate to VHDL or Verilog, I don't know if I will use LLVM. It will depend on how easy it is to play with concurrent statements with LLVM. For the simulation I will use LLVM because I can anyways artificially make the compiled code sequencial. It would allow me to benefit from all the nice things from LLVM like existing optimisations. I have never

[LLVMdev] Do we abuse the "nsw" flag
This has come up before, and we just added -fwrapv to work around the problem: http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/llvm-commits/Week-of-Mon-20110131/115969.html Are you compiling without -fwrapv? SHIFT+F10 behaving strangely after moving to 3.2 from 3.1
Since upgrading to 3.2.1 from 3.1.2 (both Debian produced packages from Lenny), I can no longer use SHIFT+F10 to open up a command line screen under Windows when doing an install. It appears that only the F10 key is reaching the DOM0, not the shift key. Shift otherwise works fine, exception in combination with F10... I''m using ''VNC Viewer Free Edition 4.1.2'' from

attempting native bridge on TDM2400
Hello list, I am encountering a bit of a problem in working with incoming calls with a TDM2400 and * 1.2.4; when a call comes in, * will correctly detect the ringing, but will sometimes report multiple "Attempting native bridge". What I do is basically that when a call comes in, I dial a different box through the same Zaptel interface and I get logs like this: [call comes in]
