Somebody was helpful enough to give me the very latest release of Polycom's firmware (2.1.0). Unfortunately, I still get that issue. So I'm stuck asking again: Anybody ever got that? Hi all, I have a Polycom Soundpoint IP 600 that looks like it is fried. It either has a bad or corrupt bootrom (I'm guessing). It never gets to the prompt that asks if I want to enter the setup configuration or continue booting. I have a Polycom IP501 phone and have set it up to download the config from an FTP server, it did this once and now is in an endless loop of trying to contact the FTP server, failing, then rebooting. When I watch the FTP server logs it looks like the phone starts a session, ends it, starts it, ends it until the phone reboots. It is annoying like nothing I can describe! I have tried Windows 2003

We are having an issue that I have been unable to figure out how to resolve. I think its related to the Polycom Phones and not the Asterisk configuration, but I'm not positive. We have several Polycom 500/501/601's on both a LAN and at employee homes. The problem we are having is if our internet connection goes down the Local LAN phones loose their connection to the Asterisk Server.

Anyone know how to obtain firmware and starter .cfg files for Polycom phones? Despite registering at the Polycom web site, I can't locate this stuff.

I am getting ready to install Asterisk and I was looking into the Polycom IP600 phones. I spoke with Polycom sales to verify the multiple line appearance and they said it would work. Greetings, Recently there has been talk of the presence/buddy feature with asterisk and Polycom phones. I have it setup, and working as expected, however I can only get 7 buddies to appear on the screen at any given time. Has anyone gotten more than 7 buddies to appear?
