Rewriting caller ID from database?
Hi Most of our customers have generic names like "Hospital", so I need to rewrite their caller ID name by looking up the number in a database on the Asterisk server, and rewriting the name such as "Reading Hospital" so that we know who's calling. Any idea if this can be done with Asterisk, and how to do it? Thank you.

Correct operation of timout parameter for dial application
Hi All, I'd just like to verify what the correct operation of the timeout parameter is for the dial application. I'm not sure if I've encountered a bug or a configuration issue. Queue - check agent
I have defined 4 queue's. Is there any way to check is there any agent logged in any of those queue's? What I would like to do is to check if there is any agent in any of queue's and if there is, then I'll will transfer a call to that queue, it there isn't I would like to do something else with a call. Aastra ignore call button hangs up call instead of going to voicemail

Trouble getting sound from a call
Having some issues with getting sound from a call. I have 4 systems. 3 main systems which handle calls for our 3 locations. The 4th system is the central voice mail system. When an inbound call gets passed to someones voice mail its done with an IAX2 connection. The same happens after hours when we have our night mode set.
