Auto Answer (Paging)
I'm trying to duplicate a behavior we had with our old avaya system, and I've come across Auto Answer (Ring Answer). However, its not quite the same yet. Right now, when I dial **5053, it will add the SIP header for Ring Answer and it will call 5053. The phone auto pickups just fine. However, we need that call to be muted. If you were to call into a meeting, we wouldn't want them to

Problem decoding .flac files
On another note, which I'm not sure if it's related with this, the Xine library in Debian and Ubuntu is very broken with regards to FLAC decoding (and probably encoding). It's already reported on their bug tracker, but no ETA of when that will be fixed. Xine is used by Amarok, and maybe K3B too. -Ivo

FLAC: minimum system requirements
Hi, I was wondering if the minimum system requirements are determined for the FLAC decoder? I ask this because I have some old computers and also a "older" Pocket PC, so I was wondering how many MB RAM and Mhz CPU speed is needed to be able to decode FLAC files without any problems. thx -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Bridging two PSTN calls
Hi, I'm a novice trying out an experiment with Asterisk and was unsure of the hardware needs for it. I'm wondering if its possible to receive a call from an external number (PSTN) say A. Then make a call to another external number (PSTN) say B - and then bridge the two calls so that A is talking to B? What hardware will I need to be able to do this. Secondly, if I had x number of

Re: FLAC: re-encode
Hmm, what if the FLAC options produce a larger file on output than input? Would -f (force) cause the whole process to fail as soon as the output exceeded the input? Hello, I am currently pricing out various T1 and PRI options for a client of mine. We need voice and data - we want T's. Whether it be two seperate T's, two superate fractional T's, or one combined fractional T, we need it done. We are getting pricing and one provider is telling us that they have quality issues with the "Integrated Access" product. From what they

I see there are mutiple links exist on LLVM web site for LLVM classes. Take class Statistic as example, there are: - http://llvm.org/doxygen/Statistic_8h-source.html (the oldest one, I believe it's

How do I provide redundancy and reliability w/ Asterisk?
I'm trying to set up an Asterisk system for a small office, and one thing I haven't figured out yet is how to best provide reliability. One way to go seems to be a T1 for all my incoming phone lines. What if that T1 goes down? Can I use mutiple POTS lines in conjuction with a T1, all connecting to my Asterisk server? What if my Asterisk server fails? Should I use two Asterisk servers,

[LLVMdev] X86AsmPrinter + MASM and NASM backends
I have "refactored" the X86AsmPrinter into a number of files ready for the MASM and NASM backends to be added. There is a new namespace llvm::X86 to replace the anomonous namespace as this does not work accross mutiple .h and .cpp files. Other than that everything is pritty straight forward, t may possibly need tweeking though. It has been built under MS VS2003, but I am not sure how

Natural Search
Does anyone know what the best approach would be to do a search against mutiple fields from one text string in a RoR app? My client wants its user base to be able to issue a search like: "Record Stores in 12321 Jazz" So, esentially, the query would have to check a couple tables, and a couple fields in each table. Thanks for any help. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.
