MWI, Realtime SIP, Voicemail and Extensions, UAs registered with SER
I have the following setup: - UAs registered with SER/OpenSER - SIP peers (non cached), extensions, voicemail setup (not message storage) defined in Asterisk 1.2 using Realtime When a message is left in the user's mailbox, no Notify message is sent to SER. 1. If the SIP peer is defined in sip.conf with a host=ser.domain.com then the notfy is sent to SER. 2. If realtimecache=yes is set in

Multiple clients registering on same definition in Realtime
I was going to setup my extension on my employee's phone so he could answer calls as well as myself. I noticed that once he registered, I could no longer receive calls on my own phone. Is this a limitation of Realtime or something else in Asterisk? I've had multiple devices register to the same definition somewhere else before in Asterisk. If I can't do it that way, I'm

Realtime and voicemail: request to find out if I'm crazy
It took me a whole lot of reading to catch what is likely not all that subtle to many, but it was subtle to me. Static: Is the global config stuff from voicemail.conf mailboxes aren't done in the voicemail.conf file. The perl script, ast2sql.pl will parse a given config and put it into a SQL db (MySQL in my case). /etc/asterisk/extconfig.conf

realtime peer w/ callbackextension does not register after 'sip reload'
Hello everybody, I am having a problem with realtime SIP peers. On Asterisk 1.8, I had SIP peers for external SIP providers configured in database and additional register lines in sip.conf so they would register. Now I upgraded to Asterisk 11.3.0, partly because of the promised callbackextension feature for realtime peers (https://reviewboard.asterisk.org/r/1717/). Removed the 'register'

----www.cdsportal.net---- wholesale voip provider
Why pay 1.1 cent's a minute for interconnecting to another Asterisk server for a high volume call center. Do people really understand what they are trying to sale and take an honest look into what they advertise. As a high volume user like a call center I would not connect my Asterisk Box to there Asterisk Box to a third Sip provider who then hands of to the Level 3 and so forth. With LD

Hello, I followed directions on voip-info.org with setting up Voicemail and Realtime. Everything works fine except for password changes. Asterisk RealTime Voicemail Not Working
I am trying to configure RealTime Voicemail with MySQL. I downloaded compiled and installed the CVS HEAD for asterisk, and for asterisk-addons. MySQL seems to be loading correctly (the cdr table is recording incoming calls). But the RealTime Voicemail doesn't seem to be checking the database table for the voicemail users. When trying to login to voicemailMain if I use a user in the

Directory app not working with realtime
All; I'm currently running Asterisk 1.8.15-cert7 and am using realtime to store my voicemail configuration. The voicemail application works fine, but the problem I have is that the 'Directory' app cannot find any entries because there are no entries in the voicemail.conf file. When I add a context and an extension entry in voicemail.conf, it works the way it should. Is there

Asterisk RealTime
Hello All, I manage to configure Asterisk RealTime and now it loads the SIP users/peers from MySQL DB. The table I am using is of A2Billing DB "cc_sip_buddies". Now the only problem I am facing is incoming calls are failing... The ATA which is assigned this DID number is behind NAT and according to Olle's explanations he said "*there's no support for NAT keep-alives

MWI for non-subscribed Realtime peers?
Hi, I have an Asterisk behind an OpenSIPS proxy. The proxy handles registrations and also SIP SUBSCRIBE for MWI. The Asterisk are configured to send NOTIFY to the proxy even when the SUBSCRIBE haven't been received. I can configure a user in sip.conf that works: [az5134939706] type=friend host=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (IP of proxy) port=5060 nat=no mailbox=1234 at customer subscribemwi=no

Trouble with Realtime
Greetings, I'm having some trouble with the realtime engines. When asterisk loads, everything looks fine, there don't seem to be any problems via notices or anything. Furthermore, cdr_odbc is working, and actively logging my failed call attempts to db through ODBC using the same DSN. unixODBC and the mysql drivers are installed from source. Here are the relevant parts of the config:

Asterisk MWI and Realtime
I'm testing my asterisk system and the realtime backend. My Asterisk build is rather aged, 03/18/2005 CVS. I have successfully moved Sip peers and Voicemail boxes to the realtime database backend and this works very well except for MWI. I don't seem to be able to get MWI to work when I store the voicemail information in a database backend, from a flat file it does work fine. I'm using
