Polycom IP 601 Buddy Watch problems
Hi, I configured Buddy Watch function on my Polycom IP 601. It works well, until I make a reload of Asterisk. After reload, It can't monitor any lines and I have to restart the phone to reactivate this function. Is this a specific problem of asterisk-1.2.3? How can I solve it? Thank in advance, regards, Marco.

Multi-channel support
Hi All, Are multi-channel (more than 2) formats fully supported in the OggVorbis specification ? I couldn't find any information about multi-channel support on xiph.org. I've used 'oggdropXPd' to encode a 5.1 wavefile and the Xiph OggVorbis libraries (vorbisfile.dll) to decode the file successfully, however the order of the channel interleaving is different to the original wave

NT network can't browse Samba
Hi, I'm trying to setup a Linux box with Samba (1.9.18p10) and it isn't having any luck making a home for itself on the network. If I go to a Windows95 machine, I see all (well most) machines on the net there, but not the Linux box. I can also not see any other machines from the Linux box. Here is log.nmbd output that repeats every 5 seconds or so: find_workgroup_on_subnet: workgroup

Confounded data frame column names
This is probably a know problem (problem for me anyway) in R but I don't quite know what to search for in help archives. When I name a column "x11" in a data frame R thinks a column named "x1" exists. In my application I am trying to test for the existence of a column, then add it if it's not there. Here is a simple example: > temd <- data.frame(x11=c(0:10)) >

syntax for observe_field( :with =>
Greetings! What is up with the syntax of this thing? I mean, if the only thing I can send back using :with is the field being observed, then why in the world is the syntax so convoluted? For example, what I''ve been able to get working is: <%= text_field_tag(''date'', illness_date, :size => 30) %></p> <%= observe_field(''date'', :url

RailsConf DVD ?
Hi All, I saw spurious mentions on a few blogs of a DVD being made available of RailsConf presentations. However none seemed to have a who/what/when/where attached to them, thus might just be pure speculation. Anyone know of an official source/effort being made for a DVD? Would be well keen for copy if one is to be made available.... Cheers Rowan --- http://raili.st/ -------------- next part
