Bridged line appearance
So are there any plans for bridged line appearance support in Asterisk? The new Linksys SPA9000 supports it. A lot of other VoIP systems from Nortel, Sylantro etc. supposedly support it. Seems to me that Asterisk needs to get on the bandwagon or be relegated to call centers, specialized voicemail applications, and phone chat businesses. It's not needed for companies used to PBX's but

Concept for line appearances and bridging: anyone?
OK, here's a configuration challenge: I want to have certain line appearances able to be "interrupted" by various other line apperances elsewhere in the office. This is harder to describe than it is to demonstrate, so I'll do that: Let's assume I have Cisco 7960's on all desks. 1) Call comes from inbound line X destined on extension 1234 2) Phones A, B, C all

Shared Call and Bridged Line appearances on Polycom IP501
Greetings, I am trying to get either of the above features to work with *, but can't seem to get it quite right. If anyone has them working, I'd sure appreciate an extract from the relevant config files. Or, maybe I'm tilting at windmills, and * doesn't support them - in which case, the underlying business need is to provide the one incoming call on more than one

Shared Line Appearance
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Ok... I am having a serious brain fart this evening. IIRC, the next sip draft addresses shared lines and I thought I remembered something on the list about support for it in the near future. I also thought that chan_sccp supported it with in asterisk. Am I loosing it here? Is there an implementation for shared line support in asterisk? I know that

Asterisk support Shared Call Appearance Signaling?
The Polycom 600 supports Shared Call Appearance Signaling. The Polycom documentation states: "Incoming calls can be presented to multiple phones simultaneously. This feature is dependent on support from a SIP server which binds the appearances together logically and looks after the necessary state notifications and performs an access control function." "The phone supports

Polycom-Asterisk hints/presence
I set up hints and presence monitoring on some Polycom phones connected to an asterisk server with the expectation that the phones that are "watching" other extensions would be notified when the other extension sis ringing, in addition to the other statuses (on the phone, statuses set by the user on the phone, not registered, etc). I can see when the line is in use, and when it is

Scaling error
Hi useRs, I ran into an inconsistent output problem again. Here is the simplify illustration I've got a matrix as follows > x V1 V2 V3 [1,] 1 2 3 [2,] 4 5 6 [3,] 7 8 9 Associated with the matrix is a scaling factor, sca, derived from, say the mean of the respective columns, V1-V3; > sca V1 V2 V3 2.5 1.7 3.6

Multilevel in R
Hello, I have difficulties to deal with multilevel model. My dataset is composed of 10910 observations, 1237 plants nested within 17 stations. The data set is not balanced. Response variable is binary and repeated. I tried to fit this model model<- glmmPQL( y ~ z1.lon*lun + z2.lat*lun + z1.lon*lar + z2.lat*lar + z1.lon*sca + z2.lat*sca +z1.lon*eta + z2.lat*eta, random = ~ lun + lar + sca

Name conflict between Epi and ROC packages
The name conflicts in Epi and ROC packages (2 'ROC' functions are the problem) cause the following code to work once, but not twice: library(MASS); data(cats); x = cats[,2] y = ifelse(cats[,1]=='F',0,1) library(Epi); ROC(x,y,grid=0)$AUC library(ROC); AUC(rocdemo.sca(y, x, dxrule.sca)) What is the standard way of resolving name conflicts? Ask maintainers to resolve

Fast AUC computation
I am doing a simulation with a relatively large data set (20,000 observations) for which I want to calculate the area under the Receiver Operator Curve (AUC) for many parameter combinations. I am using the ROC library and the following commands to generate each AUC: rocobj=rocdemo.sca(truth = ymis, data = model$fitted.values, rule = dxrule.sca) #generation of observed ROC object

GXP-2000 and Shared Line Appearances
I have a client with 20 GXP-2000s. Everything seems to be working fine. However, after a couple of weeks of use, the client is having a hard time adjusting to the new IP based phone systems and only misses one feature from their old Lucent system. That is, they had 8 analog lines before and all their old Lucent phones showed a button for each line. So, it was easy for anyone to say,

We've all shown the way it should work, and what DOES work for us. There appears to be <something> different about your setup. I've showed you my spam sieve filter that does set \Seen. I deliver my mail via dovecot LMTP to mbox formatted files. What's different in your setup? Those \Seen flags are visible in ALL the clients I use (Outlook, Outlook Android, Gmail Android,
