trunk rollover
I was hoping that rolling over to the next trunk would be simple, but it
doesn't appear to be so, especially for a newbie. So I'm looking for a
simple way where if I get a busy on the first outgoing trunk, I can do
something to get connected to the next one. Perhaps something like the
big boys do and dial 9 first? I'm guessing a custom dial plan might do
that but I haven't

SIP useragent?
Hi list !
Is it possible to show the used Useragent of a peer that
registered with Asterisk? It's being saved obviously because the
console says so when a phone is registering but sip show peers doesn't
show it?
Is there any other way to view it?
Thanks!

Hello,
I'm in charge of two Asterisk servers.
One of these servers is running an Asterisk@Home version under CentOS,
the other one is running Debian Sarge. The Debian server has been
installed by me using this howto:

On both servers, the AMP version is 1.10.010. However, the

slight irritation using digest (from the ports)
Hello Folks!
For a special application I needed to create digests (or hashes) using
the whirlpool algorithem. It was kind of hard to find something that
actually did that. But I found digest in the ports tree - ok, with some
help from someone who seemed to know what to look for. :-)
What irritates me is the Wikipedia-page on Whirlpool:

FreePBX in production?
Has anyone attempted to use FreePBX for a business in production mode?
Initial take is there are lots of things scripted but a lot of
limitations in terms of supporting basic business functions. Inability
(or lack of flexibility) is handling multiple incoming pstn lines,
dialplan limitations, poor/no documentation, etc, to mention a few.
Maybe its just me, but it appears its no where near

GoDaddy royally screws over aussievoip.com.au and soft-swtich.org
Well, I wake up this morning, and aussievoip isn't up. I ring godaddy,
who _were_ hosting it, and they say that the machine's been compromised,
and you can't have your data. Nyah Nyah.
I spent 1 hour and 38 minutes on the phone to them, trying to convince
them to let me somehow get access to it, but to no avail. I've reported
it to the Australian Federal Police High-Tech Crime

Sip show inuse
I have recently upgraded to 1.2.7.1 from 1.2.4.
I can no longer use "sip show inuse".
Below is the output... I know there are current calls:
redhat*CLI> sip show inuse
* User name In use Limit
* Peer name In use Limit
Does anyone have an idea why this isn't working?
Thanks,

was going on. Let me know if you find a way to tell the compiler to stop
complaining.

Problem logs queue_log-mysql
Hello!
I'm trying to registers events of queues in /var/log/asterisk/queue_log and Mysql database .I have configured realtime queue_log on MySQL and works well, but /var/log/asterisk/queue_log file is empty, since you're not registering events of queues.
Removing extconfig.conf configurations (queue_log => mysql,general), /var/log/asterisk/queue_log works well, events logs on

ast_queue_log to mysql asterisk < 1.4 ?
I know in v1.6 its part of logger.c but I noticed this:
https://issues.asterisk.org/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=11625
However, it doesn't seem to ever been applied to any version of 1.4.x
branch..
Nor can I figure out what it was applied to?
This is over 3 years old, you would of figured it would have been applied to
1.4 at some point in time..
Any ideas?
