metermaid patch
I'd like to be able to use my Snom 360 LEDs to view the status of parking slots, so I'm trying to install the "metermaid" patch (http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=5779). Can someone help an svn newbie figure out how to install this patch? I've done the following: svn checkout http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/team/oej/metermaids cd metermaids make clean make but I get

Call parking in multi user environment
I'm looking for a solution for call parking in an environment where multiple users are hosted on a single instance of asterisk. The main issue being a way to keep user A from picking up calls parked by user B. I downloaded the supervaletparking code from asterlink which would appear to be a solution, but it doesn't compile on the latest CVS HEAD. I sent an email to the author just in

call parking "hint"
Hi, Is it possible to use the hint priority to allow call parking slots to be monitored on (for example) Snom indicator lamps? How do you refer to the slots (i.e., what is the "channel") in the hint? - Mike

anyone using metermaid / parked call BLF?
Hi all, I'm using 1.2.9.1, with the "metermaid" patches to show parking spot status on Snom BLF lights. I see from http://www.asterisk.org/node/97 that the metermaid code has changed substantially since 1.2.9.1. Is anyone successfully using the "new" metermaid functionality in 1.4.x? I'd like to hear any good/bad experiences before I attempt even a test

Question Regarding Visual Park Functionality - Hardware/Software
Hello List! I am hoping someone may be able to assist with the following feature I am looking to implement: I would like to use a visual park function if possible, here's how I see it working.... -> Call comes into caller A -> Caller A places the call in orbit (or park) by dialing 700 -> A message is then sent to illuminate a line on each of the phones in this office indicating a

Call Parking
Anyone having trouble parking calls? I haven't tried it in a while, but it seems to have stopped working. If I dial 700, I get a invalid extension. I have "include => parkedcalls" in the correct context, and I can dial 701, which tells me no call is parked there. Any ideas? Parking.conf is stock.

Call parking from legacy PBX over PRI??
I have an issue with call parking and hope there is some undocumented feature for this. ;-) We are replacing our legacy PBX with asterisk, but to save money over time (handsets and network), I am trying to maintain the use of our legacy PBX. Asterisk extensions can not use the call parking features (not usable over trunk cards) of the old PBX, so I have to get the old PBX to use asterisk's.

one-button call parking/pickup on Asterisk with Polycom phones?
Anyone want to talk briefly about one-button call parking/pickup on Asterisk with Polycom phones? Does anyone use it or know to do it? On many phone systems there are 2 or 3 park buttons, and you can park a call onto an unlit park button, and then the light flashes. You can go to any other phone, and press the park button with the flashing light to pick up the call. Super easy from the

Polycom call parking feature and Asterisk call parking
Hi: I want to make parking calls easier for my hard-working users. Is there a way to make the Polycom call park feature work with Asterisk? In case it just works out of the box, I haven't tried it yet; but the "call park" feature isn't enabled on the Polycom phones by default. -Stephen-

APP - ValetParking on CVS-HEAD -- instructions on its use, anyone?
I've finally got this beast installed, but now I don't see how to use it. I've looked over the web near and far, and it just seems that no one has anything on its implementation.. This is all I get from the CLI: *CLI> -= Info about application 'ValetParking' =- [Synopsis] Valet Parking [Description]

[PATCH 4/7] drm: Move the legacy kms disable_all helper to crtc helpers
It's not a core function, and the matching atomic functions are also not in the core. Plus the suspend/resume helper is also already there. Needs a tiny bit of open-coding, but less midlayer beats that I think. Re: app_valetparking.c for * STABLE (1.0.X)
Nope ! This is the one that tries to include PRE 1.0.X header file <parking.h>. It cannot compile on * 1.0.X (I have tried also to include <features.h> instead of <parking.h> (as far as I know features.h is successor to parking.h), but still without results). Thanks anyway. Parking lot
Is there any way to have Asterisk call an extension in dial plan instead of original extension after timeout? Like extension A puts the caller in parking lot, he leaves the phone and forgets about it, instead of having that phone rings after timeout, have a group of phones rings. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Multi-Tenant Parking
Has anyone managed to get multi-parking lot call parking working correctly? I've had several attempts at it, and never seem to be able to get it to go properly - (actually, at all): I've most recently done this with 1.6.1.x, and now 1.6.2.x, with no luck in either case. What I've been "trying" is the following: features.conf [general] parkext => 100 [featuremap]

Since www.bkw.org seems not to exist anymore (getting response from some hosting provider), does anyone happend to have a copy of app_valetparking.c from www.bkw.org - the one that should work with * stable 1.0.X ? If so please contact me. One that can be downloaded from www.loligo.com dosn't compile with 1.0.X, and SuperValletParking (www.asterlink.com/svp/) seems to be for * HEAD

Parking in Asterisk 12.0.0
Hi I'm trying to get the rebuilt parking functionality to work in Asterisk 12.0.0. In Asterisk 11.6.0 I managed to get a call to get parked by adding a dynamic feature in features.conf for the DMTF sequence *# which called a macro in extensions.conf, which then runned the ParkAndAnnounce application, and the call got parked. The syntax for ParkAndAnnounce I used was this (I don't

Call Parking on 7960
Hi all, I've got a fairly minor question, but it's getting on my nerves .. hopefully it's an easy answer. I'm having trouble parking calls on our 7960s. It works fine on ZAP devices, though, and they're both using the same context. What I do is: When I'm on the call, I hit More, Transfer, 700, Dial. I then get a fast busy. If I dial 701, for example, I do get the

1.4.10.[0,1] crashes when call parked
100% repeatable (for me). Sip phone A calls Sip phone B. Either Sip phone A or B does #700. The party that keyed #700 gets the parked announcement (eg 701) and the other party get MOH. There is still an audio channel between the two SIP phones at this point. When the party that typed #700 hangs up, Asterisk crashes. This has been working in previous 1.4's (but not 1.4.10) and I
