I want to make a call to/from Panasonic IP pbx thru asterisk via H323.

SER qualify
Hi!
I know that is not SER discuss, but probably some of you faced with the same
problem:
to detect trunk status (ok/unreachable) in *, it's a must, to set qualify=yes
as * connecting to SER, it's not replying to qualify messages, so even i can
use it well without qualify, with qualify it's says unreachable immediately.
What i have to set in SER to reply?
Thanks!

Crashes with Spandsp, app_rxfax.c, and asterisk 1.4.4
Hi everybody,
I have a Fedora Core 4 x86 32 bit install, which I recently
upgraded from asterisk 1.2 to the office 1.4.4 tarball.
In the process of doing that I had to upgrade some
autoconf/automake stuff, but it worked fine, and my new asterisk
works fine.
Except that anytime I receive a fax with spandsp and app_rxfax,
asterisk seg faults.
I have applied the spandsp

RxFax problems
Hey All,
I'm still (since April) having problems getting RxFax to work over an
ISDN4Linux channel. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting it
to work?
I have done a CVS update today (about half hour ago) and made sure I have
the latest version of spandsp according to Steve's website
(spandsp-0.0.1k). When I was compiling asterisk, I got the following
warnings:

asterisk 1.2.7.1 and app_rxfax
Hi!
After upgrading to asterisk 1.2.7.1 (from 1.2.4) it seems that app_rxfax
doesnt work any more.
I've installed spandsp-0.0.2pre25 (the same problem with
spandsp-0.0.3pre6.tgz ) app_rxfax.c, app_txfax.c and made the Makefile
patch from the same directory.
When starting asterisk I always get the follwing error message:

Problem: Compiling error for SpanDSP app_rxfax
After resolving my earlier problem in updating the apps Makefile with the
patch for SpanDSP, I encountered another problem when I executed the "Make"
utility from /usr/src/asterisk. I obtained an error as shown below. Not
sure on how to resolve the problem.
gcc -pipe -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes

Both went just fine, and i've checked my libtiff and libxml (along with the devel-s) versions - they're fine.
Machine is fedora core 3, x86_64. Asterisk is 1.2.17, zaptel 1.2.15

Strange sound when fax answers (app_rxfax)
Hi!
I am struggling around with * and the spandsp library (app_rxfax) for a couple
of days. I'm trying to receive faxes which come via a SIP gateway.
The rxfax-module answers the call, the reception of faxes, however, still does
not work correctly, the received file is only about 300 bytes of size,
because the sending fax machine is terminating the transmission.
Now I've figured out

Latest CVS and app_rxfax
With the current CVS-HEAD line 88 of app_rxfax.c causes an error.
#if (ASTERISK_VERSION_NUM <= 010300)
chan->callerid,
app_rxfax.c:88: error: 'struct ast_channel' has no member named
'callerid'
Commenting out the if else combination of course gives a clean compile.

Install app_rxfax and app_txfax in 1.4withLenny
...described in the README file ;).
SpanDSP - 0.0.4 pre 16
LibTiff - >= 3.8 but <4.0
I had to trawl around for the right SpanDSP - but I can e-mail a copy to whomever wants one (drop me a personal e-mail and I'll attach it by return)

Install app_rxfax and app_txfax in 1.4with Lenny
JFYI - I run (successfully) agx-addons with 1.4.22 and Etch.
Make sure you have the right version of SpanDSP installed (as well as the tiff libraries).

app_rxfax.c and app_txxfax.c where?
Hi All,
Where can I find copies of the app_rxfax.c, app_txfax.c and
apps_Makefile.patch. They don't seem to be located at soft-switch.org
anymore.
I am currently trying to compile Asterisk 1.2.26.1 and need the fax
components.
Thanks.
