Hi, I'm running asterisk 1.2.6 and aastra phones 9133i with the latest firmware. The MWI light is not coming on on the phones. A) how can I debug if asterisk is actually sending the 'new message' notification? Is it possible I could have this turned off by accident? Hi, We have a few Aastra 480ci phones and we've noticed that in order to get the phone to receive a call, qualify must be = no. Apparently the Aastras do not respond to the qualify message (or respond in a way Asterisk doesn't understand) and Asterisk thinks the phone is unreachable. I upgraded my office server from 1.4.22 to 1.6.0.5 on the weekend and after some testing there seems to be a compatibility problem when using Aastra phones. MessageMelissa - I added the "fromuser=AnyName" to my sip.conf file stations and that, in fact, corrected the problem. The MWI now works flawlessly. I would recommend that Aastra/Sayson pursue this with the Asterisk team so that it is listed as a known issue or to have Asterisk patched to fix it. I will submit a bug on it as well. Ok, So I just installed some aastra 9133i phones. They work great. One small problem. When I do an 'all page' anyone who is on the phone gets their call placed on hold for the duration of the page! THIS IS NOT GOOD! How do I make the page only go to people who are not on the phone, and ignore people who are on the phone?

Hi all, When moving from a self compiled Asterisk 13.23.1 to Asterisk 13.24.0, has resulted in a MWI clearing delay of around 5 minutes. After listening to a voicemail and deleting it, the Polycom VVX 601's MWI light is left on for around five minutes, before clearing. Installing Asterisk 13.24.1 did not fix this.
