Isdn4Linux and DTMF
Hello all, I currently have an Eicon Diva Client isdn card using i4l. Outbound dtmf doesn't work (and never has), but there has been an annoying problem with false dtmf detection in calls (that could be triggered easily by blowing into the receiver on the remote end). I looked through the list and found two patches that need to be applied - 1 to isdn_tty.c in the kernel, and another to

Intermittent breakage with the ISDN4Linux modem driver
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm having some problems using the asterisk modem driver with an ISDN4Linux card (AVM Fritz). (I realise that it's better to use CAPI, but unfortunately this card doesn't have any CAPI drivers). Every so often the ISDN just stops working (it neither dials out nor accepts incoming calls). Trying to dial out just logs: --

Struggling with ISDN4Linux and Asterisk config
The card is an ASUSCOM ISDNLink PCI (passive) and the circuit is from Qwest (in the US). I will be using this circuit only for voice (I'm doing this because of the poor quality of my POTS lines). I've compiled Hisax (as a module) into my 2.4.25 kernel, and with 'modprobe hisax type=35 protocol=4 id=hisax' I get the following: Apr 7 10:34:24 dev kernel: HiSax: Linux Driver for

Diva 4BRI, asterisk and capidrv support ?
Hello, I acquired a Diva Server 4BRI for an AsteriskPBX system and installed a 2.4.20 kernel modified with the latest eicon capi2.0 support from www.melware.net. Capi support seems to work fine: Asterisk+chan_capi answers the calls. However if I try to use my old isdnutils apps by loading a i4l compatibility layer then I have the following problems: - if I use the diva2i4l module and start the

IAX or IAX2 ?
Hi, I have read the wiki entries on IAX(2), but I'm afraid, it still have some questions: I have a working connection between two Asterisk-Servers (Asterisk 1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC7k on Debian 3.1) via IAX. Does this connection work with IAX or IAX2? When I try to load chan_iax2.so, I get the error message chan_iax2.so]Oct 11 10:09:52 WARNING[2288]: loader.c:258 ast_load_resource:

* & ISDN-BRI-PTP & DID & ISDN4Linux does not show incoming number
Hi, I am using Asterisk on a DSS1 ISDN-BRI with ISDN4Linux (and a Fritz Card PnP). The ISDN-BRI is in PTP-Mode (Point to Point "german: Anlagenanschluss") which is enabled within I4L with "hisaxctrl fcpcipnp0 7 1". Everything works fine except that I can not see the called number/MSN of incoming calls within Asterisk and because of this I can not route incoming calls

I865, HFC-S etc.
Hi, I'am having some problems with new mainboards and 3xHFC-S cards. The the first problem was with interrupts, I mean if HFC-S card was using interrupt i.e. 21 or higher - it didn't work. Solved by disabling APIC. However, still the driver behaves a little bit strange. If card 0 & 1 is TE and 2 is NT, TE works fine, but NT is not working at all. If card 0 is NT and 1 & 2 TE - all

sftp-server questions
Hello, Is there any way to specify which pubkey has rights to use the sftp-server subsytem when this has been set up in the sshd server? I don't know if I could control which users are authorized to use the sftp-server, could I? Is there any official patch that allows sftp-sessions 'chroot'ed? Thanks in advance. -- Best regards, quart mailto:quart at

Asterisk + NetJet (ISDN4Linux)
Well, it has been a long time since I used my NetJet S cards with asterisk (moved to the quad PRI card) but I am trying to get this working again for home use. ISDN problem: lacking dialtone
Hi all, this is a rather "newbie-oriented" question, so please bear with me... The system running Asterisk has been provided with an AVM FRITZ!Card PnP. SuSE Linux 9.0 recognizes it right after booting the system and it seems to be configured (MSN) correctly... The hwinfo looks like this: --- pbx:/etc/asterisk # hwinfo --isapnp 11: ISA(PnP) 01.0: 10300 ISDN Adapter [Created at

(euro)ISDN: complete silence / can't hear a word.
Hello, I just got my isdn-card working together with i4l and asterisk. Everything seems to be working fine: I can accept calls coming from the outside and I can dial out. Even setting the msn works like charm but my problem is that I cannot hear a word. There's complete silence in both directions. Any idea what could be the cause? rxfax trouble on bristuffed capi
Hi all, My BRIstuffed 0.2.0-RC7k is running fine on my debian box for voice calls over ISDN2. Now I want to implement receiving incoming faxes into my setup so I did a google and some reading on the wiki. I got the spandsp 0.0.2pre10 package compiled and installed, patched asterisk's apps makefile and compiled * again. This all worked out fine. When integrating the RxFax into my dialplan the

asterisk + i4l problems

Yesterday i configured asterisk to be able to hear a song (with Playback() command) with iaxcomm, and it was wonderful. Now, today i tried to configure asterisk to use my ISDN4Linux supported card (a plain HFC card) with asterisk. i configured modem.conf this way, after reading
