How come I don't have the MeetMe applicationregistered?
After installing the timing source , what do I have to do to get meetme
application registered? Do I have to recompile asterisk again ? I don't
see the compiled meetme.so module in the directory.
Regards,
Sam

tinc confused on remote nodes behind NAT?
Something tells me this was covered recently, but i didn't find it again in
gmail. The nodes see each other but if i have something misconfigured that
is decreasing my speed.
All my nodes are behind NATs.
i have a remote node that connects to a central node via port forwarding
from public port 7777 to hp821 running on port 655.

asterisk as sip client behind nat
Hi, I am pretty new to all of this but was able to
set up an asterisk server and have been able to
succesfully connect to asterisk with x-lite as sip client.
I have also connected asterisk to FWD (using iax2) and
to voipjet (also using iax2).
Now I am trying to connect asterisk to Stanaphone.
It has to register as a SIP client but I am not being
succesful at all.
My asterisk server sits behind a

Automatic configuration of direct routes behind NAT
Hi,
I've followed the guide at:
http://blogs.operationaldynamics.com/andrew/software/research/using-tinc-vpn
and have a working tinc VPN. Here's my topology:
- CentralNode has a fixed public IP address that everyone connects to
- Leaf1 and Leaf2 may have different IP addresses depending on where
they are, and usually those will be behind NAT (think, two laptops
going around and you get

nat auto detect ?
Hello ppl,
This post is to do with the variables 'nat' or 'canreinvite' for sip
entities.
Idealy users, wont be static, they could be roaming all over the globe.
So, setting someone as behind NAT, and disabling canreinvite, etc.,
restricts the roaming capabilities of a user.
Is there any way for Asterisk to auto detect, if a user is behind NAT,
also, if two users are behind the

Asterisk both behind a NAT and outside at the same time
I've read a lot of the descriptions of handling NAT with Asterisk,
and the use of both the nat and canreinvite flags. I am very
familiar with Sip and NAT but have not seen an answer to the following
question.
My Asterisk server runs on a machine with two ethernets. One is
an external net, with exposed IP addresses. The other is an internal
net with natted IP addresses. Thus the server

Hi All,
Xandros 3.0.1 OCE (Debian based).
./configure executed without problem (once I installed bison++). Then
'make depend && make' resulted in the errors below. Apologies for the
length of the mail, but I don't want to miss out anything which may be
vital :)
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
Kind regards,

Is it possible to have a remote Phone work behind Nat without a VPN?
Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to have a SIP Phone work remotely if it's behind a Router
performing NAT without connecting the Router to a VPN? The Asterisk Box
will be in the DMZ.
Thanks

I have been working with this for a wile and I have been watching
the list for about a month on this subject, to no avail.
I am wondering if anyone has successfully configured asterisk for
clients to connect to it when the clients are behind nat. I mean
successfully because I can do everything except for audio, my audio is

SPA-1001 behind NAT -> Internet Asterisk box -- BOUNTY!
I'm still unable to get my SPA-1001 to work behind NAT with an Asterisk box out on the Internet. It works fine to my local A@H box.
I've tried... many things.
I'm willing to pay a $250 bounty (PayPal preferred) to anyone who can help me get it working. Any Sipura experts out there?
Eric.

Asterisk behind Multi-NAT question
Hi,
Ok.. I know dual NAT is a problem for SIP..
ie. UA - NAT - Internet - NAT - Asterisk
What about Multi-NAT where a dedicated public IP is mapped to the
private IP of the asterisk box..
ie UA - NAT - Internet - Multi-NAT - Asterisk
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/kb_vigor_multinat.html
Anyone tried it?
Thanks..

Problems compiling Wine
Hello,
The lack of debian packages for 0.9.13 have made me decide to compile
from source instead. So I uninstalled all wine files and downloaded the
sources. I'm using a system based mostly on Debian Sarge, but with some
backports.
I ran ./configure and there were some packages I had to get, but soon it
worked well.
When I tried make depend the problems started. This is the output I get
