oh323 - unable to install
I'm and Asterisk@home user - been so now for almost a year. Lately, I've upgraded to the latest & greatest.. (which is built on 1.2.5) and am unable to install oh323. I've already asked over at the (A@H) Sourceforge forum but no one seems to think it worth answering. The error I get is pretty obvious but I don't know where to go from here. More importantly, I need to have

X100P Ireland Red Alarm (AR Tarzi)
Ahhh this could be my problem! I just checked which wires on the RJ11 cable had a voltage across them and it was the yellow and green (3 & 4?). From what someone posted the other day it's supposed to be Bumble Bee and Christmas Tree. I did have to get a technician out to fix my line when it was first installed because it was dead. Maybe he wired it up incorrectly or maybe they just do it

Nokia 32 Terminal
Hi, Does anyone have some experience with Nokia 32 Terminal (it is an analog GSM Gateway)? After a configuration I can make only incoming calls, I'm not able to do any outgoing. Nokia signalize an error (4 short tones), when I try to phone someone. I tried postpaid simcards as well as prepaid simcards with the same result. Does anyone try to connect this gateway to Asterisk PBX if so what

FW: Asterisk@home - requesting help on oh323, ISDN BRI and iConnectHere DID
I know almost nothing linux, and don't really know that much about Asterisk (proper).. but I was 'pulled' by this subject and grabbed an <mailto:Asterisk@home> Asterisk@home installation CD (version 1.3) and just went with it. Newbie doesn't quite describe it, I'm a banker.. this simply goes to show how easy Asterisk is becoming (I certainly hope this direction was meant

OH323 with Asterisk@home - seems incomplete
I installed oh323 and everything seemed to go smoothly (compile & everything upto calling through using oh323). I must admit, there is some behavior that's doesn't seem right but generally, I'm able to dial-out of any oh323 device whether to an extension or to a trunk. Audio is sometimes muted when dialing out until the extension or dialed number answers. Sound quality is good

FW: OH323 with Asterisk@home - seems incomplete
Thank you (for spamming) - it was the clue I needed to push this through. Sorry it took me a while (and a google :-) ) to realize you'd addressed my initial query - basically, my loss. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Jason Becker Sent: Wednesday, August 24, 2005 00:36 To: Asterisk Users

readBin on binary non-blocking connections (Windows & Unix differences/bugs)
R-devel: I am encountering a consistency issue using socketConnection and readBin with *non-blocking* connections on Unix and Windows XP (no Vista to test). I am a bit confused by the behavior of *non-blocking* connections under Windows specifically. When calling readBin on a non-blocking connection when there is no data to read on the socket, the connection under Unix will return a vector of

Really dumb question
Just got dovecot running inside MEPIS 3.3.2 SOHO (debian). I am impressed. It works really well and I am planning to move my mail away from my Win server and access the mail from dovecot using imap. I have copied some folders from my existing Outlook mail system into the imap mail server without any problems....so here is the dumb question: where are the mail files/folders stored on the MEPIS

Restricting outbound dialing on a specific phone
Hi all, I've been through the wiki and the archives and I've been unable to find what I'm looking for. Basically I have a phone that I don't want to be able to dial out. I've only got one context at the moment; but from my investigations I think I might need to create another for this specific phone. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks Matt

sem and "simple variables"
salutations! i am doing some longitudinal modeling with sem and thought calculating some "simple variables" would make my model more readable. this is the smallest subset of my model that illustrates the resulting problem. i have 2 observed exogenous variables (c1, d2) and 4 observed endogenous variables (dc1, dd1, dc2, dd2). c1 is the observed state at time 1, dc1 is the change in c

segfault when using data.table package in conjunction with foreach
Hi all, I'm trying to use the package read.table within a foreach loop. I'm grabbing 500M rows of data at a time from two different files and then doing an aggregate/tapply like function in read.table after that. I had planned on doing a foreach loop 39 times at once for the 39 files I have, but obviously that won't work until I figure out why the segfault is occurring. The

Adding a "boot from local hard disk" option to syslinux menu, booted from USB
Hi all, I use XP on my laptop PC, with 30 GB HD (single partition), and a 3.5" hard drive (not a stick), accessed through a USB encasing, partitioned as five logical drives. I have successfully set up syslinux to boot several Ubuntu versions from the primary USB hard drive partition, and no problems there. The problem is, I would like to have an entry in the menu, like "Boot from

original & reformat extension
Question: Naturally there are times when need to I reformat an extension in a context as such: ;Reformat add CC1 exten => _NXXNXXXXXX,1,Goto(1${EXTEN},1) -or- ;Reformat 011 with with +CC exten => _011X. ,1,Goto(+${EXTEN:3},1) It's a helpful trick, BUT there are times when I want to send the call to another context in its original un-reformatted state. Naturally the ${EXTEN}

Hi I want to pursue a project based to improve the existing KCoFI method which is the Control Flow integrity method for commodity os. Since KCoFI is a llvm based project I plan to undertake the project to improve the existing KCoFI method. Following are the improvements that I want to pursue: 1. To improve the call graph used in KCoFI. Implement a stronger call graph. 2. Port the KCoFI to

possible arrangements of across sample ties for runs test
I'm trying to implement the two-sample Wald-Wolfowitz runs test. Daniel (1990) suggests a method to deal with ties across samples. His suggestion is to prepare ordered arrangements, one resulting in the fewest number of runs, and one resulting in the largest number of runs. Then take the mean of these. The code below counts 9 runs for my example data where '60' is tied across

Ladies and Gents.... Please be patient as I try to explain what I am trying to achieve.. I have a PSTN line and a Freshtel account, what I want to do is have the PSTN line as the first choice for outgoing calls for local calls and Freshtel as the second choice. The problem is that it's easy enough to set up both individually but how do I get the "second choice" drop the leading
