Yuxin hardphones feedback
Hello everybody This question has probably already been asked, but I'd like to have feedbacks about Yuxin hardphones Especially series 10, 100 and 200 ( and by the way i didnt found too much technical differences between those models). Is it better than budgettone, or so cheap hardphones ? I m' like everybody and dont want to waste money in bad phones :) So any experience is welcome.

Special Meetme
Hi all, I want to setup a meetme application in the following maner: One operator is connected to a room. The operator hears and can talk to all the participants, but one participant can only hear/talk to the operator, not others. The operator is using one phone. To be more explicit, this means that every new person etering the room has a one2one conversation with the operator only, and the

Open source firmware on an ATA
Does anyone know of an ATA which has a modifieable (open source) firmware AND that supports faxing. Granted most of them don't do faxing well but that is more of a problem with the network side. IP PHONE iareaphone x100, tested??
Hi, I have used the Budgetone 102's extensively on Asterisk and found then quite reliable as long as you update the firmware. The GXP2000 is quite a mess at the moment as the current firmware does not support 3 quarters of the advertised functions and codec support is extremely limited. I have tested the unreleased latest firmware update for the GXP2000 and it's an incredible difference

PA1688 Chipset IP Phones & ATA's
For those of you who may be interest.... IAX2 loads are now available for the standard builds... http://www.aredfox.com/edownloadsiax2.htm Just a word of caution... Remember to change the ports over to 4569 from whatever. And don't forget to grab the palmtool from http://www.aredfox.com/download/tools/PalmTool.zip My own testing of IAX2 with both a phone and an ATA is that IAX2 is

IAX2 hard phone
I purchased an IAX2 hardphone, X100 otherwise known as a Netweb X100 or YWH100 with a PA168 chip and the latest firmware 1.45 available, from a US retailer. I was able to configure the phone to work with my Asterisk box, except the hold and transfer buttons do not work. When you press the hold button, it rings endlessly, the transfer button, displays "transferring" but it does nothing.

I didn't see anything in the wiki about this company either.. Does anyone have any history with these phones? Thanks, Jared

Special Delivery from China
I received a sample IP/Speakerphone from my friends in China today. Asterisk setup was fairly uncomplicated and I had it running as an extension on my server within a few minutes. Sounds quality of both the receiver and the speakerphone are fine (wife's opinion). Are there any tests I should run with this phone? Following are the specs: - Single line appearance - Alpha display, 2x16 chars -

Hi all! I've got a problem with thia PA168S/AT320P telephone. I got 2 servers: one with SER and the other with Asterisk. All users are on SER and Asterisk is the gateway/voicemail. dialing with different speed
Hi all, I have a VOIP phone with the PA1688 chip; my firmware is V1.42.028. This IP phone is registered in an Asterisk PBX and I've a problem when I dialing internal number. If I dial an internal number, like for example 102, the IP phone takes 35 seconds to send the number to Asterisk; here below the debug output 192.168.0.75: first 192.168.0.75: 1 192.168.0.75: 10 192.168.0.75: 102

port forwarding ip to ip sip calls
Hi, I've got two pa1688 phones that I want to set up to communicate between branch offices without a gatekeeper. Both phones will be behind a firewall and I want to use port forwarding so the phones can communicate. I tested the phones behind a firewall on the same network segment and there were no problems at all using sip. However, I then moved the phones into situ and port forwarded

IAX multiport ATA
I'm looking for an ATA\Voice Gateway that runs IAX and has several ports (8 would be nice). I am looking to avoid devices that use the same firmware as the ATCOM devices as I found them to be buggy (and a PITA to find the proper update). ---------- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions http://www.ics-il.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
