Rights problem with Voicemail and non-root user - yeah I know, I thought I had it fixed...
Hi, I thought I had this problem licked but there still is a rights problem with ARI and Asterisk when using a non-root user (Following the wiki at http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-pagehistory.php?page=Asterisk+non-root&diff2=25). When I issue the following: chmod --recursive u=rwX,g=rX,o= /var/spool/asterisk The above command results in the following rights on messages: msg0000.gsm

kiax - iax2 softphone
Has anyone on here used kiax before? I am asking because I have it installed on several computers and have been able to get it to connect and register to my Asterisk box. I can even call between them and my SIP softphones. The problem I am having is this: when I use kiax to call someone else, they get some kind of background music playing while I am talking to them. I have called from kiax to

Polycom 501 issue with latest firmware : sluggish keys
Hi, I've upgraded a few Polycom 501 to SIP 2.0.3b (can't get 2.1.0 because of Polycom's firmware policy, but this is the "latest publicly available" from Polycom's web site). I've noticed that some keys get "sticky" though. Soft buttons for example (i.e. "end call") need to be pressed 2-3 times for them to react. I've downgraded to

Nagios asterisk monitoring
Dear list, I am trying to configure the nagios plugin called check_sip. I just read the README file included with the plugin. I follow the readme steps to configure the plugin, without success. In the nagios web interface I can see (No output!) In the status information column. If I run the chech_sip plugin from a linux console, I get /usr/local/nagios/libexec# ./check_sip -u

Asterisk with SuSe 10
Has anyone had any experience with the Asterisk on a SuSe 10 platform? I'm currently using FC3 but because we use SuSe within other parts of the business I'm being pushed to changed the OS. Adhearsion 1.0 - Now Showing
Thanks to the hard work of many people in the Adhearsion community, I am pleased to be able to announce the immediate availability of Adhearsion version 1.0. Since Jay Phillips first began work on the project in 2006 Adhearsion has changed the way developers think about telephony applications. Now with several years of operating experience and multitudes of applications deployed to production,

Hello Peng Yu and List, I have put toy.cpp into github but it has a form of LLVM project makefile infrastructure. So you can build it together with LLVM Project source tree. git://github.com/Journeyer/klang.git There exist many branches and each branch is for each chapter of Kaleidoscope. [LLVMdev] git repository of the tutorial
Hi, I'm learning the tutorial. http://llvm.org/docs/tutorial/ I'm wondering if there is already a git repository of the examples in the tutorial so that I don't have to copy the code from the webpage. Thanks! -- Regards, Peng

[LLVMdev] License of LLVM Tutorial
Hello List, I am studying LLVM/clang recently. One of the method of my learning is making a LLVM project based on LLVM tutorial. http://llvm.org/docs/tutorial/ I divided toy.cpp into several .cpp and .h files in several directories. The purpose of this work is making it structured similar to clang. And I put it up to github. git://github.com/Journeyer/klang.git Now I wonder what license

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Do you use UML utility programs?
UML diagrams can be really helpful for explaining how a piece of code works (such as the diagrams in your klang project on github). The main reason I don't draw them is that I haven't found convenient tools to use which integrate well with my workflow. Doxygen produces class diagrams, but I would really like to have something which produces sequence diagrams (such as

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Do you use UML utility programs?
Hi Sean Silva, Maybe I am the only one who is trying to use UML. In my team, I am also the only one who draws UML diagrams. I expected there be someone who use UML like me. But it's maybe not as your opinion. Maybe doxygen is enough for majority of people. Thanks for your reply. Sincerely Journeyer J. Hello, I just applied changes of LLVM 3.2 and it is tested with LLVM 3.2 downloaded from the LLVM Download Page. I just worked for master branch only. The rest of the other branches need to be changed about this also. This will be done as soon as possible. (Before I fix this, If you look at the commits for this issue for master branch, you can easily fix it and test for others also.) Sorry for

Introducing Sippy Cup: SIPp Load Testing Made Easy
Hello everyone, Recently we've been focusing quite heavily on making Adhearsion[0] faster. To do that, we needed a convenient way to test our Asterisk voice apps. The obvious tool in the Open Source world is SIPp[1]. SIPp is great! Though it's a little clumsy to use sometimes, especially if you're trying to use it to drive interactive calls like an IVR. So to make our own lives
