SV: Re: Fromstring when sending e-mail on recievedvoicemail
Yeah I did change those. I'm using 1.0.8 (Or was it 9?). It seams that the system overrides these settings? -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] P? vegne av Barry Flanagan Sendt: 21. februar 2006 14:54 Til: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Emne: [Asterisk-Users] Re: Fromstring when

SV: Re: Fromstring when sending e-mail on recievedvoicemail
As mentioned earlier I did try that. Someone suggested that there might be an issue with sendmail not "trusting" the asterisk user. And the default behaviour of that is to not allow modification of the "fromstring" and "serveremail". So if you have any idea how to fix that in Gentoo I would really appreciate it. Thanks -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra:

Thank you very much. For some reason "emailsubject" was not included in my example config. Well, it's working great now. Last question, I promise :P. Is it possible to change the date format? I want it in Norwegian. -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] P? vegne av Barry Flanagan Sendt: 22.

It's fixed now. In "/etc/mail/ssmtp.conf", this ("FromLineOverride=YES") line was commented out. Removing that comment did the trick :) Now I only need to change the e-mail's title. Is that possible? -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] P? vegne av Barry Flanagan Sendt: 22.

Fromstring when sending e-mail on recieved voicemail
Hi. I'm having trouble controlling the user info when sending e-mails from asterisk via sendmail to a Microsoft exchange server. When I receive the email the sender is always "asterisk@TheDomainISpecify.com" and the name of the sender is always "Added by portage for asterisk". I want to change both sender-address and the name of the sender. I'm using Gentoo for my

voicemail.conf fromstring, emailbody - per context?
Has anyone put together a patch which would allow a different fromstring and emailbody based on context? Or any other way to have more than one fromstring and emailbody per server?

VoiceMail fromstring?
I'm having tons of trouble getting the fromstring to work in voicemail.conf. I've tried both voicemail and voicemail2 but the emails still seem to be coming from asterisk pbx. Has anyone had any luck with this? ================= Here's my voicemail.conf: ; ; Voicemail Configuration ; [general] ; Default formats for writing Voicemail ;format=g723sf|wav49|wav format=wav49|gsm|wav ;

xorriso or genisoimage syntax assistance
I got this figured out much faster than I thought I would. Thanks to all of your help, Peter, Mattias, Thomas and Helmut. And Thomas, that 8 partition live OS sounds right up my alley, and I will definitely check it out. The second partition is working well with `parted' and `fdisk', so I am quite pleased. Below is, again, "what I came up with". I tried to integrate each of your

Dos To Unix?
If we drag a file from a Windows directory - say autoexec.bat and drop it onto a samba mapped Unix drive, when we then go to the Unix box and vi the file all the lines end in the DOS EOL character (^M) is there any option/configuration in samba to make it convert DOS text files to UNIX format? Problem with intermittent one-way audio
Hi, I have a 1.2.4 asterisk box at a remote location, which is using IAX2 to connect to a 1.2.5 box for PSTN. There are 15 users on the remote server, all connecting via SIP softphones. For some reason, there is an increasing number of calls where the callee does not get any audio although the caller can hear them perfectly. This happens between 5% and 10% of the time. If they hang up and call

How to hide CallerID - SetCallerPres(prohib) not working
Hi, Using * 1.2.5 with a euro_isdn PRI I need to hide the callerID on certain extensions. I have usecallingpres=yes in zapata.conf, and am using SetCallerPres(prohib) in my dialplan prior to the Dial command. No matter what I set SetCallerPres to the CID is still displayed. Is there something else I need to make this work? I can't just set the CallerIDNUM to null, as it is needed for

Attended Transfer - transfer timeout, how to change?
Hi, We are trying to use attended transfer with Asterisk 1.2.5, but when we do the transfer and dial the new number, it times out after 3 rings and then the callee is put back to the original agent. Where can I adjust the timeout which applies to the number we are transferring to? I have changed the extension for this number to timeout at 60 seconds, but that seems to make no difference. --

Questions about Sortable javascript
Hi, I''ve been playing with sortable, the demos on script.aculo.us and reading the javascript. I hope I''m not just missing the documentation somewhere but I can''t find it. I want to do something like Sortable for the admin side of an open source ecommerce project I''m working on [1]. I''m relatively new to DHTML but understand the basic ideas. If someone
