Some problems with mysql CDR
Hello, We have finally upgraded to Asterisk 1.4, however we've run into two issues that weren't occurring before the upgrade. Issue #1: We're an outgoing call center and need to record all calls. We use the uniqueid field in the CDR to match with the recording, which we labeled with {UNIQUEID} in MixMonitor. For some reason, the uniqueid is not correct in the CDR. Here is the

No cdr_csv after upgrade from 1.2.x to 1.4.x
After upgrading from 1.2.x to 1.4.x call detail records are not being written to /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/Master.csv In cdr_manager.conf I have [general] Enabled = yes Apparently there is something else that needs to be configured for call detail records in 1.4.x. Can someone point me in the right direction? Don Pobanz

Host IP address, Crash on startup, Console grabs soundcard - Newbie needs help
I'm an asterisk newbie, so initially tried to install it on a Mandrake 10.1 (see config below) and with a bit of messing about using sample config, have been able to make the test call to device 1000, and also through to the IAX test number at Digium. However, operation is extremely flaky - I cannot reliably startup and use the system on a regular basis. I have several problems listed below

Need help - CDR MySQL
Hello all, I'm trying to activate (on Asterisk 1.6.0.13) the cdr_mysql addon, but without success. Is there a proper online manual that describes all the steps to follow and debugging/monitoring information? When I type in the CLI "module show", cdr_addon_mysql.so is not listed, although in modules.conf, I added the line "load => cdr_addon_mysql.so". I also tried

Real Time CDR
Every once in a while (like 2 out of 7 times), I get the following message: [Nov 14 12:49:02] NOTICE[6855]: cdr.c:434 ast_cdr_free: CDR on channel 'SIP/5000-082508f0' not posted I look in the cdr table in mySQL and indeed, the record is not posted for that call. This makes me want to create hard file and a compare script between the file cdr and the odbc cdr, but I was wondering if

Asterisk 'losing' upstream provider registration state during small network outages.
Now that I have most everything actually working I've noticed that about every 3-4 days on average..... and at worse... Once a day my asterisk box seems to lose it's registered state with our sip provider and no longer will take any incoming calls. The caller simply hears a fast busy (reorder) If I do a reload at the command prompt all is well for another few days..... What I'm

Agent Call Recording
When recording inbound agent calls, if the queues use agent members (Agent/6000), we can get the calls recorded as agent-xxxx.yyyy.zzzz.gsm where xxxx is the agent number. However, if the queues use phone members (SIP/6000), the recorded filename is simply yyyy.zzzz.gsm. Is there any way of making the recorded file either agent-xxxx or even sip-xxxx where xxxx is the extension number. I had

Simple CDRs
Greyman-- I'm taking this discussion to the list. Folks, what we are talking about here, is me trying to get a grasp around Greyman's (Aaron's) request for a bare-bones CDR generation that describes just total connect time for channels, stripping out all the details. Who cares about xfer, park, hold, etc.? So in the following is our discussion about what *should* be there, and in

app_dial.c:977 dial_exec_full: Unable to create channel of type 'Zap' (cause 0)
Hi, Ive been struggling with asterisk for a few days now. I understand pretty much how it works and how to tie things together (SIP -> SIP internally works fine etc), but just cannot get asterisk to work with an X100P clone (its a Ambient MD3200, if that means anything to you guys). I have tried (initially) asterisk 1.07 with zaptel 1.07, and now Asterisk CVS-HEAD with zaptel cvs. Both give

cdr_adaptive_odbc and custom rdms fields
Hi folks, I was recently made aware that the only way to currently set custom fields in a relational database for CDR is via the experimental cdr_adaptive_odbc drivers found here: http://svncommunity.digium.com/view/tilghman/branches/1.4/cdr_adaptive_odbc.c?view=log I had no problem compiling the driver, and copied the module to /usr/lib/asterisk/modules on my box and setup
