We've managed to make the voicemail button work using fromdomain=192.168.0.1 in sip.conf vmexten=2500 (our VoicemailMain application extension in extensions.conf). We also added notifymimetype=application/simple-message-summary also in sip.conf to allow SIP simple MWI

Hi list, how does one get a SNOM 200 MWI to work with * ?? When I press the MWI button it doesn't connect with voice mail on my * box. thanks

I have the voicemail setup working in that I get the MWI and it emails the message correctly. When I pressed the MWI button on my SNOM 200, it dials into the voicemail system and prompts me for a mailbox and password. I know there is a way to automatically connect directly into the mailbox via the extension.conf file, but I can not find the documentation I am looking for in reference to variables

Is there a way I can have "voice mail check" calls coming from my internal users automatically get to the right extension, without having the user enter their extension? I'm thinking that I could have the local SPA boxes translate, or have each user live in a context where the extension in question exists uniquely per user, but both of these seem kludgey. Hello. I am using a snom 320 running 5.3.6 with Asterisk 1.2.4. In the sip.conf entry, I have mailbox=1234@default and vmexten=*98. The light on the snom 320 turns on when I have voicemail and the retrieve button dials the correct extensions. However, the light turns off immediately after making the call to voicemail, even if I do not check the voicemail. Any idea on how to get this to behave

Hello everybody. I have created an extension that enables/disables the night service mode on asterisk (i.e. voicemail is started on incoming calls, instead of entering a queue). Hi everybody! I've setup my dialplan so that if an extension dials *21*, that extension is added/removed as a queue member to a queue. (State toggled). But it would be great to get an "optical feedback" of that phone's state regarding the queue membership. Does someone know if it is possible to light up a LED under this szenario? Many thanks! Hi, we are trying to install Junghann's quadBRI into Dell PowerEdge 2800 system without success. I don't know if the issue can be that Junghann's card fits 32-bit slot and Dell PE 2800 has only 3 PCI-X 64-bit slots. Can this be an issue? We get "CRC errors for HDLC frame" when the card is initialized. Any idea what can be wrong? 1/ We use latest bristuff packages. 2/

Hi, Trying to set up these two buttons on a snom 360. The message waiting key seems to send a call to it's own number, which is obviously engaged and where you are prompted to leave another message to yourself, and the conference key seems to do nothing. Anyone manged to overcome these problems so that the conference key actually conferences, and the message waiting "retrieve"

Ugh. We thought we'd fixed some problems by using regexten and DUNDi. Guess not. We have a configuration with three Asterisk boxes. Phones register with a single, primary asterisk box under normal conditions. For voicemail deposit, retrieval, we trunk the calls over to our asterisk voicemail server. However, the voicemail server now has no knowledge of the location details of the phones,
