Possibly a security flaw...
A summary of my problem, I had wrong UIDs for a user (eg pmal) between the /etc/passwd file and the smbpasswd file. When I was trying to loggin from a couple of machines running either win nt or win 98 I was reading in the log files that the loggin could not be completed because the UID were wrong but there were instances were I could loggin from another computer with the same username. Also profiles aren't working for Windows 2000 SP2 machines. Any ideas? How to show a debugging remark in a sip or extensions context?
I would like to show a remark that would show call progress and appear on the CLI screen. The remark should be in the code of a sip [channel] or extentions [context] If I can't send my own remark, what little used 'show' command could I insert in the code? Can this be done? -- Larry Alkoff N2LA - Austin TX Using Thunderbird on Linux

(no subject)
I'm having a problem with files locking so that every time the are opened up they are opened as Read-Only. Windows doesn't see them as readonly but Samba thinks that they are write=no and so they can't be saved or deleted. I've included a log, my smb.conf, and a getfacl of a user's home directory as well as a getfacl of the directory from /home. Any help would be

(inaugural?) Austin-area LLVM social
Some of my LLVM colleagues that I only seem to encounter at the annual Bay Area dev meeting live right here in Austin, TX. We should get together for a social, yeah? And I suppose there's bound to be more around here who might be interested who haven't been able to trek to San Jose. So consider this an official solicitation to Austin area LLVM fans. Write back with interest and I'l

Hi All, I have been attempting to get an AGI LCRdialout script to work. Basically what I need to have happen is when someone dials out a number the script check to see if it is local if so, go out the ZAP channel. If the ZAP channel is busy, go out the IAX channels, if IAX is all busy, go out the SIP channels. Here is a sample of what I have in my script. #!/usr/bin/perl use strict; use

I think it would be a great evening to have an LLVM social! I'm not familair with the Austin area, but I've cc'd some folks who are (or at least were) in Austin, so hopefully we can get

I''ve got vague plans to hang out with whurley, but I''d love to meet a few more people in the community. Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday night should work fine (although not all three). -- Always behave like a duck - keep calm and
