Help needed with Elographics touchscreen
I'm trying to get an Elographics serial touchscreen working with CentOS 6.2 using the xorg-x11-drv-elographics driver. Touching the screen will wake it up if the screen has blanked, but it never moves the cursor on the screen. There is also a keyboard and mouse connected while I'm trying to get this going and they are loaded automatically and using the evdev driver. Here are the relevant

change languages from an IVR
A customer of mine wants an IVR where the first 3 choices are 1 English 2 Spanish 3 French I can build the IVR but how do I get the system prompts to then speak the selected langauge. For example, a caller has selected Spanish and so is routed to the Spanish part of the IVR. At some point he breaks out of the IVR to leave a VM. How does the system know to continue offering him Spanish?

transferring SIP call: no voice
I'm trying to connect a sip call from sipgate to Asterisk A to Asterisk B. Both are behind NAT, but port forwarded. I get the connection, but no voice - either in or out. I can call on SIP from A to B (and from B to A). Do it all the time. Asterisk A receives SIP calls from Junction and Teliax. CLI on A looks right: == Using SIP RTP TOS bits 184 == Using SIP RTP CoS mark 5 ==

xrandr or xorg.conf... help with virtual size desktop
I've come at this a few different ways on this list and others. But not really getting a solution. Possibly there is none until some changes are made upstream. configure.in fix (netbsd-current) for 2.1.0p3
thanks for great package. configure.in shipped with 2.1.0p3 includes too few header files for detecting struct sockaddr_in6 and in6_addr, and the build will fail on netbsd-current (1.4Z). here's a tiny patch to make the build successful. itojun diff -u1 openssh-2.1.0p3/configure.in openssh-2.1.0p3+/configure.in --- openssh-2.1.0p3/configure.in Tue May 30 11:57:47 2000 +++

experiences with teliax, voipjet or junction networks?
We are looking for SIP trunks for our * pbx for our business. Being able to port our numbers is an absolute requirement. teliax can do it, but I am unsure of the others. Anyone have experiences (good, bad) with the above mentioned providers to share? Eg reliability, quality, etc. -Dan

Any known problems using xrandr with Nouveau
Running Debian Wheezy Hardware: Older P4 3.06 GHz video: Nvidia FX 5700LE Monitor is 25.5 asus LCD with 1900x1280 native resolution. (xrander sees it as 1400x900) (I've included the output of xrandr -q at the end, also following that output is Xorg.0.log) I recently made some effort to obtain a large pannable desktop like I have used for many years. And since on newer debian they expect to

Opinions on the best wholesale origination/term providers
I've been losing patience with my current provider, a small company called Sellvoip. Their termination is good, and they are asterisk based, but they are understaffed and have no concept of customer service. So I'm shopping. I am interested in the opinions of others on the providers they work with. Here are my criteria, roughly in order a) Decent quality, low latency. In

Macro Goofiness
I am trying to use a macro to screen calls by calling several different phones at the same time in different groups. Find me will not work and queues will not work either. Trust me, I've tried them both and they don't work like they should. Here is what I have: A call comes into 6084 and does the following (in default context): exten => 6084,1,NoOp(test) exten =>

Question
Ok so a while back I found an example for having a number dial multiple numbers and then whoever answers and confirms gets the call. (don't recall who the example was from, but thank you!) But Now today I've been playing with TTS and STT and came across the BackgroundDetect command. Now If I use this allow it works fine. But when I try and use it with this it never actually detects me

Dial+Macro and Queue
A call comes in and goes into the queue, the queue dials a sip channel using a macro. The macro plays a set of options to the callee and if the callee presses 3 it sets MACRO_RESULT=CONTINUE and the macro ends. For some reason the caller goes back into the queue rather than continueing on in the dial plan. Why is this, i could have sworn in 1.2 if i set MACRO_RESULT=CONTINUE that the
