Anyone know how I can push a firmware update to a Snom 190 without using DHCP? In the web interface, I specify a path to the Snom firmware, and it works, except I have to physically press OK to get the update to download. I need to do it remotely...

Hi I am trying to get a SNOM 360 to monitor other extensions i.e. when someone makes a call to/from another extension, one of the LED's on the SNOM 360 will change state. I have set up a new SwissVoice phone and it can receive calls but I cannot make calls out from it. The setup is simple for now, 2 phones: SwissVoice is ext 7726 and Cisco 7960 (SIP) is ext 7999. Hi, I am using a number of snom190 phones, and an asterisk "gateway" server, and recently started experimenting with call transfers. The snom phones provide support for attended and un-attended call transfer, so I would rather use that than call-parking. I have found that un-attended transfer works fine, and that attended transfer works fine if the originating phone call is NON-SIP

Hi, I want to pick up a call with the snom's programmable buttons(snom190 -SIP 3.60x, snom360-SIP 4.1) with asterisk server (v 1.2.0), I tried with the option 'Destination' and when the incoming call arrive to another snom phone the button blinking. In this way I can only pick down it pressing the blinking button. The solution is call the *8 or parcking the call but my pbroblem

I noticed when I call certain IVR systems, such as 1800calldhl, that Asterisk will not barge the prompt. Would this imply that Asterisk has an Early media detection problem. Is anyone else experiencing this problem. Is there a fix? Kurt

Hi all, One of my users reports frequently hearing echo on her Snom 360 phone, even while talking to other Snom phones (via Asterisk) on the same LAN (i.e., all-digital low-latency connection). Hi List, I cant seem to find the setting that changes this! You put a person on hold, they are on hold like normal, but after a few seconds the phone will then start having dialtone coming from the speakerphone, really weird!! Anyone know how to fix this? I see where it could be nice, but in this case, we just want them on hold is all, no dialtone! Any help would be great! Thanks! Ron

Has anyone had success getting the Swiss IP10S and the SIP ( IP10 SP v0.0.1 (Build 4)) firmware working with Asterisk? If so do you have copies of what worked in sip.conf and phone configuration files? I can't seem to get the phone to register, it tries but is denied with a Forbidden (which I am guessing is authentication). I tried without a secret, but the phone seems to use swissvoice
