super high bandwidth codec
I've just gotten off a skype conference call and it pisses me off that the quality of skype is higher than my asterisk calls. Is there such a thing as a super high bandwidth codec? In a situation that you have the bandwidth to share is there something that I can use for important calls when the situation warrants it? TIA, Dean -------------- next part -------------- An

UserEvent() with multiple body lines
Hi, I have tried to use UserEvent() command to send data to Asterisk Manager from my dialplan. It works fine if the body only contains 1 line but I don't know how to send multiple arguments in the body. I have tested: UserEvent(eventname|body1|body2) UserEvent(eventname|body1\r\nbody2) But no one seems to work. Is it possible to do that and what is the correct syntax? Amaury

country code list
I was wondering if anyone has put together a comprehensive list (that is reasonably maintained) that lists country codes, landline numbers, mobile numbers, etc. The particular requirement is for a dialplan to know what is going to be charged to whom. For example, mobile and landline rates are the same in the US the US has a unified numbering plan of 1NXXNXXXXXX, while the UK has: 441xxx

Setting Caller ID after Dial
Hello, I have the following situation: I have a PRI with 200 DID numbers and I have set up 200 sip extensions that matches the last 4 digit of the corresponding DID numbers so that when any of the 200 DID number is called, asterisk can pass the call to the respective sip extension. Incomming has been fine. But when making out going calls I want the called party to always see the same number

Is SKYPE a threat or should we do something (together)
Skype is very succesfsfull and get more and more users, ... we can ignore them, accept them or do something,... My suggestion is that we try to do something, ... If we would peer to each other, than we get soon also a great amount of users together, and than our service becomes more valuable, ... Let's discuss advantages and disadvantages! bye Ronald -- Ronald Wiplinger (CEO of

can't start chan_capi with asterisk group
Hello, While upgrading * from 1.0.9 to 1.2.5, I have installed chan-capi-head and I can't start asterisk under asterisk group "asterisk -vvvvgc -U asterisk " and "asterisk -vvvvgc -U asterisk -G dialout" work well but "asterisk -vvvvgc -U asterisk -G asterisk" fail. I am thinking about a group permission configuration but I have exactly the same one

internals and ISDN calls fail when Internet is down
Hello, I have an * server configured with a voip provider and an ISDN BRI backup line. When Internet is down, internal SIP calls or ISDN calls fails. I have analysed some internal sip traffic and asterisk doesn't answer fast enough to phones. It sends DNS queries to find voip provider IP but as Internet is down, results are never returned. I have tried to upgrade from * 1.0.9 to 1.2.5

[LLVMdev] Usage of pointers to elements of a std::vector that might be reallocated
Oh yes you're right, I missed that :) But the point still hold. [LLVMdev] Usage of pointers to elements of a std::vector that might be reallocated
Right, later in the same file we have: // Reserve entries in the vector for each of the SUnits we are creating. This // ensure that reallocation of the vector won't happen, so SUnit*'s won't get // invalidated. // FIXME: Multiply by 2 because we may clone nodes during scheduling. // This is a temporary workaround. SUnits.reserve(NumNodes * 2); So for some reason *2 is

[LLVMdev] Usage of pointers to elements of a std::vector that might be reallocated
Hello, I was trying to interface a custom backend instruction scheduler with llvm code when I realize something terrible. The scheduling code builds a graph made up of SUnit * nodes (see ScheduleDAG*.{cpp,h}). These SUnits nodes are allocated via a std::vector< SUnit >. This isn't a problem as long as the pointers are taken after the vector is fully filled and the vector never changes

Deprecating ADDC/ADDE/SUBC/SUBE
These opcodes have been deprecated about a year ago, but still in use in various backend. In https://reviews.llvm.org/D47422 I would like to change the behavior of the backend to not enable the use of these opcodes by default. The opcode remains usable by any backend that wish to use them, but that should limit the situation where newer backend just use them as they are enabled by default. This

Problem ScheduleDAG on PowerPC, X86 works fine.
I don't think that'd work, because it leaves all other backends broken. AFAICT, your transform is simply not a legal transform, with the way the ADDC/ADDE opcodes are currently defined, and to do it you really need to fix the opcode definitions to not involve glue, first. I also note that your transform doesn't actually trigger at all on this particular test case on x86, because the
