how to detect redirect fax call
Hi, I want to try detecting if a call is a fax from Zap/1 channel and if it is, forward it to a fax number. How to do it? I have iaxmodem and Hylax working, but it can only receive, but not redirect the fax call. Also, I have read that Asteris has a tool call rxFax. Could someone help me to understanding the difference in terms of functionality between rxfax and hyfax? Which one is better?

I feel this is a slap in the face for those of us that have been here and I don't feel I should HAVE to pay to be certified... I think me and MANY others are about to walk out of the project over this. I have already spoken with many people that are close to the project. You're hurting US and our ability to make money. Psssst - hey buddy, wanna' get a job? (follow-up to asterisk-biz please)
Folks, First of all, this email is sent to -users and -biz, but please follow- up to the -biz list only. I have set the reply-to, but I fear mailman will strip it off ... Please don't flame me for posting to -users, I'm just not sure who lives on -biz as the (signal/noise | net.kook | troll) factor has been pretty bad on that list lately (poor Rehan!!) ;-) Telephony Depot

[Asterisk-biz] e164.org update
Long time coming, but we finally have a 3rd party interface on the website to add block of enum numbers in regex form... eg +4412345[678] which will match +44123456 +44123457 +44123458 also +4412345[16-18] which will match +441234516 +441234517 +441234518 or just short prefixes +4412345 so anything starting with +4412345 will match... Currently this is accessible via web interface

[asterisk-biz] DIDX Receives Digium Innovation Award
All of the emails I get from the list have the correct time with the exception of the typical list slowness. All of your emails (and only your emails and spam) are approximately 11 or twelve hours in the future. The email I am responding to has the correct day but the time reads 11:13 PM. I am using Thunderbird 2.0.0.5. If using Outlook, I think the time is correct. Thanks, Steve Rehan

Re: [Asterisk-biz] Livevoip U.S. 800 LNP Starts March 9th 2005
Mike, No they have not. Calls are failing again today. They have offered to refund my money but that does not solve the problem. My asterisk server is only 4 to 12 ms away from their "network". I have had VERY good luck with nufone.(40 to 45ms away) Only have 1 or 2% fail rate. Going to be calling txlink.net on Monday. Seems that LiveVoIP does not care about asterisk users. They like

As far as I know it's not legal to join bellster in Israel. It means that you're reselling the minutes you buy from the telco company. It also means that you need a permit from the Israeli ministry of communications cause you're acting as an international call provider. Can't be done here. -----Original Message----- From: Geoffrey S. Mendelson [mailto:gsm@mendelson.com] Sent:

None of the unlimited packages you get plan on you using them up. It's like a couple of years ago when the long distance carriers gave us the first phone call of the holiday for free, and people let the phone off hook for the entire week end. It's illegal for sure, and for a couple of reasons. a. you're not allow to resell anything someone else sold you and not pay taxes on it. b.
