[asterisk-biz] DIDX Receives Digium Innovation Award
All of the emails I get from the list have the correct time with the exception of the typical list slowness. All of your emails (and only your emails and spam) are approximately 11 or twelve hours in the future. The email I am responding to has the correct day but the time reads 11:13 PM. I am using Thunderbird 2.0.0.5. If using Outlook, I think the time is correct. Thanks, Steve Rehan

Beware of DIDX & Super Technologies
I assume most people here know what a joke DIDX is -- but in case you didn't already know, please avoid these people. Basic features of their service don't work, their tech support refuses/drags their feet to fix them for a month and if you post publicly about them, they terminate your service. Instead of investing their effort in reading mailinglists to terminate customers maybe they

Number Restriction
Hello, I have a block of 25 DIDs and have 10 phones on the network. I want when a person tries to call out for * to pick a number for the CIDN and I want to make sure that the number isn't duplicated while it's in use. Joshua __________________________________ Yahoo! Hunting for DIDs in Kenya/Nigeria
Don't know if anyone's got experiences on this they'd be able to share... I'm trying to obtain numbers for Kenya/Nigeria, but I'm struggling to find a company selling them. There's one for Nigeria listed on didx.com, but $22/month seems a little steep. Has anyone had any luck getting DIDs for countries in Africa, and are there any companies out there selling them? Thanks

re: Sixtel Services
I'm using SixTel as a test (Opened account w/ $10) and am happy with them so far... In their basic service package, they don't charge a monthly fee, and it's outbound only, and you get charged for every minute. I paid for a DID, which is $1.50 or so per month, and it lets me receive inbound calls, which I also pay for by the minute.. I don't mind this for a service like this

DID Provider
I am using DIDx.net as my DID provider but they don't seem to get their act together. A lot of times the phone numbers don't work. How can provide my own DID, my asterisk server is being hosted at a Data center and has a reliable vendor that does my termination and do SIP to SIP and have no T1 channels. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Re: Anyone having trouble with claling US Domesticon Sellvoip?
Try DIDx.net, I would not say they're best but at least they willing to help you when there is problem and they have a large pool of numbers. -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Salvatore Giudice" <Salvatore.Giudice@VoIPSecurityTraining.com> > I have transitioned to other DID's. where can i get a vanity DID?
>From what I understand if I have an asterisk pbx set up, I can also get a vanity DID. 1) Where I get the DID from does not matter, my voip provider can use the DID i ask them to. Is this correct? 2) What place has good vanity DID's? 3) Do toll free DID's save me or the person calling me money? Or are toll free DIDS more expensive? 4) Where can I get a good vanity DID. I would

Need some dialplan help
I'm hoping someone can give me a little dialplan assistance. Here is my scenario... I currently have an AT&T T1 connected to a Nortel Optn 11. I recently purchased a Rhino system with a Rhino dual T1 card. What I want to do is insert the Rhino box between the CO and the Nortel on the T1 so I can start migrating users over to the Asterisk system in the near future. But, in the meantime, I

Faxing with Asterisk 1.8.4 & T.38
Hi - I am looking for suggestions for ITSPs for faxing with asterisk 1.8. We are based in the US, so would need an ITSP with US DIDs. #1) We would like to use Fax For Asterisk with asterisk 1.8.4 in order to receive faxes via T.38. Sending faxes is not a requirement. Does anyone have a working asterisk 1.8.4 configuration and ITSP provider that they can recommend? We have been trying T.38

DID from Direct from Telco
Hello Everyone, Unlike going through DIDx, DIDLogic etc.., we have an option of getting DIDs directly from local telco Bell Canada. Currently our SIP Trunk provider assigned a DID to us, and as you know, they just redirect requests it to our PBX. However, when dealing directly with a telco, what equipment will we need? Basically giving us the same capability as a DID provider. If someone can

Re: Obtaining Cisco Firmware painlessly and LEGITIMATELY?
I'm in the UK and have had terrible trouble getting the right contract. After looking on voip-info I set off looking for a vendor only to find that no-one sells the $9 contract. Cisco retracted that one :-( I asked for the equivalent and they said I needed a ?20 contract. I said fine but after 20 minutes or so got a call saying I couldn't have that one as it didn't give me access

[OT] Purchasing Rails beta book and CC Verification
Did anyone else who purchased the Rails betabook get a telephone call from someone at "Humboldt Merchants" (sp?) asking to verify their purchase, ostensibly to ensure there was no fraud (on the part of the merchant, not the person buying the book)? They knew my name, phone number, the title of the book I bought and the type of credit card I used. They didn''t give or ask for the

Help with Battlefield 2 and EADM
Hi, I purchased BF2: Complete Collection from EA's web site about a year or so ago. I was running Windows and bought it using EA's Download Manager (aka EA Link). I couldn't run the game without that program being active. Now, I proudly, run Linux full time and I can't get the game going because it still depends on EADM. I installed EADM, but it won't run. Is there a work
