chan_capi configuration with AVM C2 card
Hi; I've been asked to take a (remote) look at an Asterisk@home system running asterisk 1.0.9 on Centos 3.5. It's running chan_capi-0.3.5 It has an AVM c2 ISDN card which is plugged into what I believe to be a couple of BT ISDN2e "System Access" (i.e. point to point) connections. We've placed a support call to BT to find out how these lines are actually provisioned, but

asking for readers input into the following config...
The company I work for has gotten the go ahead to start dipping its foot into the shallow end of the asterisk pool. The client we will be setting up for currently has an NEC PBX of some sort with 8 analogue lines in. They use lines 1-4 as indial on a rotary group, lines 5-6 as indial for two 1800- numbers (1800 is Australian prefix for freecall), and lines 7-8 as outgoing. There are approx 15

chan_capi-cm 0.6.4 random outgoing MSN problem
I've having a big problem after having upgraded to 1.2.4 and chan_capi-cm 0.6.4 When making outgoing calls I don't seem to have any control over the CLI that is presented to the called party -- it can be any one of the MSNs allocated to the line, allocated on what seems to be a random basis. This is on a BT Business Highway line (which is essentially an ISDN2e line with two built-in

AVM C2 chan_capi-cm-0.6.3 Error on Dial
I'm getting a strange error on one of the two controllers on an AVM C2 card under chan_capi-cm-0.6.3. I have two ISDN controllers defined, both in the same group, both connections are UK ISDN2e Point to Point: On the third outbound call (both of the first two calls are handled by the second controller "ISDN2",) I get this error : chan_capi.c conf_error 0x2001 PLCI=0x301

chan_cap-cm-0.6 deflect support
Hi, I've recently reinstalled a Diva in my asterisk server (alongside a QuadBRI :-) to test the nice features Armin has been adding in chan_capi. The capi.conf format has changed, so my question is how do I define a deflect= statement for different incoming MSN's? I've tried to define a section for each (group of) MSN with a different "deflect". Is that correct? [DIVA1]

the Telco, I can make calls in. What I am trying to get though is how to pass through the DID range. The E1 that I am connecting to the Telco with, used to connect direct to the NEC system and already has hunt group calling enabled for all 30 channels. Also, I was given a 100 number indial range (from 00 -> 99). If the E1 is connected to the NEC directly, I can call 5555 7320 and the NEC

fax eater
We have a 100 number indial range and every so often get fax calls on our voice numbers (our fax number isn't in the 100 number range). If you just hang up the sending fax will often try a few times before finally giving up. Our outgoing fax is connected to the PBX (not asterisk), and we can do a blind transfer to that which will print it out, but right now the fax is printing a misdialled

hi all, i have a probably very stupid question/problem. for testing purpose i am trying to get asterisk running with two isdn cards. I'd only like to here the demo sound when i call the number - but nothing works. The output of show channels is not showing any channel - should there be 4 channels ? - capi info shows my two cards perfectly. The ISDN Controller's are attached to an PTMP

using a Gigaset SX440isdn on a Diva 4BRI ?
Hello, I just received a couple SX440isdn phones and was wondering if they can be plugged into a Diva 4BRI port in NT mode and work with asterisk+chan_capi? I know they probably work fine with mutliHFC cards with either bristuff of chan_misdn but since I have some spare Divas, I was curious about their potential as phone ports. The Diva's 3 and 4 ports are already set to NT mode at boot

chan_capi and only one B channel usable?
Hello list! I have a Asterisk 1.2.10 running using the package from Backports.org for Debian Sarge. I have setup chan_capi (0.6.5 from Backports) and it seems that I am only able to use on B-Channel. When trying to place the second call I get: CAPI INFO 0x34a2: No circuit / channel available capi info shows: Contr1: 2 B channels total, 1 B channels free And capi.conf is: [ISDN1]
