MeetMe & ztdummy
I'm running into a bit of a problem setting up conference calls. The box I rent at a colo doesn't seem to have USB hardware.... When I try to load usb-uhci I receive a "device does not exist" error. Which means I can't load ztdummy.... The system has a rtc clock module, so zaprtc won't work... (which I'm scared to unload rtc because I don't have physical access

Re: [Asterisk-Dev] Use the Meetme application with another module thanUSB-UHCI
I ran in to an almost impossible ability to run MeetMe on our poweredge. Our PE is a 4 proc with OHCI and we had no need to buy any PCI cards other than for running MeetMe. If you know how to recompile your kernel, recompile it and make RTC a module (its compiled in by default). Then you can use zaprtc as your timing source. Be sure to `rmmod rtc` before you `insmod zaprtc` because zaprtc is a

This is actually -correct- when using RTC. Let me demonstrate: [root@dhcp5 zaptel]# ./zttest -v Opened pseudo zap interface, measuring accuracy... 8192 samples in 8195 sample intervals 99.963379% 8192

Asterisk 1.4 problem with ztdummy and MeetMe()
Hi, when I build zaptel-1.2 and asterisk-1.2 I can modprobe ztdummy and start asterisk to be able to use MeetMe(). When I build zaptel-1.4 and asterisk-1.4 I can modprobe ztdummy and start asterisk but I am not able to use MeetMe(). What do I miss? Problems with zaptel/ztdummy/asterisk.

ztdummy running, but moh & meetme don't work
Any thoughts on the following? I am running asterisk from CVS (downloaded yesterday's version, just to be sure) on a test system with no digium cards in it, so I have installed ztdummy (see logs and screenshots below) as a timing source. When I call the music on hold extension from a Sipura Sip connected analog phone, I hear nothing and start getting Warning[98310]: chan_sip.c:674

Problems with MeetMe accepting conference PIN
Hi, I know this question may have been asked before (although the archives don't seem to suggest it), but has anyone had any problems with Asterisk accepting a PIN number for a conference room. At this point in time I have established the conference definition in the meetme.conf file as well as specifying the appropriate lines in the extensions.conf file. meetme.conf file: conf =>

ztdummy, zttest
Hello, Today we setted up a server that needs to use MeetMe but doesn't have any Zap hardware. So we need to use ztdummy (at least, this was our idea). Rarely: zttest is not working at all (100% bad, using zttest -v doesn't give anything, etc.). Of course, after load ztdummy, there isn't any background or anything. It is the same kernel (Debian Etch default kernel, 2.6.18) than

Mixing meetme conferences
Have anyone experienced mixed meetme conferences? Im running a 12 seat call center outbound only. Asterisk 1.2.8, SIP/ulaw at the phones, SIP/ulaw to the SIP terminator. newbie question: Meetme
Yes, I am a newbie too. I am having a problem with meetme. From what I have seen it will work without a Digium card but with audio problems. My goal is just to see how it works not the quality of the audio. When I dial into the conference room the following message is played: "That is not a valid conference number." On the console I get: "unable to open pseudo channel". As

3 way calls and meetme problem
Hello, I have a problem with the meetme application, but I'm not sure if it's a bug or just a misuse. I'm trying to get a 3 way call system working as follow : A calls C B calls C C who's speaking with A or B, presses one keypad (only one) and the 2 incoming SIP (A, B) and C are redirected into a conference room. Therefore, I created an entry in the applicationmap

asterisk and gnokii on same server: scratchy sound
Hi, Has anyone tried to use gnokii to send/receive SMS messages via serial or USB with AT commands while running Asterisk? Some of my calls have a "scratchy sound" once in a while. It doesn't seem to be due to packet loss but some kind of interference (CPU is ok, etc.). I've noticed some coincidence in time between this scratchy sound and the gnokii process. I have a bash

Scratchy Audio with Asterisk 1.2.4 over IAX on FreeBSD?
Hi all We run an * 1.2.4 under FreeBSD with ztdummy kernel module. zttest reports 99.9something % of accuracy, so timing should be fine. SIP connections work fine, but we have a strange problem with IAX2 connections. When an IAX2 call originates from the FreeBSD Asterisk to another Asterisk, the sound is scratchy (sounds a bit like a 50Hz ground loop). It's not a problem of the

ztdummy
What does it take to get ztdummy to work correctly? I have a new laptop HP HDX9200. I am running asterisk 1.4.19 and zaptel 1.4.9.2 Zaptel compiles fine. asterisk compiles fine. ztdummy loads asterisk runs. Problem is playback() does not work. So then I stop zaptel, asterisk runs and playback() now works. However, meetme()'s dont work. I need ztdummy I'm pretty sure for that. I am

Asterisk 1.4 with Digium B410P - Timing problem
Hi list, we have a dual Xeon server with 2GB RAM running Debian Etch 2.6.18.4-686 kernel. The server has 2 B410P cards plugged in. No other card. We installed Asterisk 1.4 trunk with zaptel trunk, ran make b410p, the install mISDN1.1.0 (for bug 9064) configure and compile Asterisk with chan_misdn, all is fine. In misdn-init.conf we have added option=1,master_clock. Asterisk is up and
