DID in Western Canada
Hello, I'm having trouble getting finding a company that provides DID in Western Canada. More specifically in Edmonton, Alberta. We have tried getting in contact with Link2Voip and Calgary Telecom but neither seems to be answering their phones or email. I would appreciate it if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thank you, Nelson

Telus (Alberta) PRI Caller ID NAME, Display IE, Facility ID
We are trying to send caller ID NAME information over a Telus PRI in Alberta. The PRI tech says that he sees the NAME information, and for calls over the same network, that NAME info should be reaching the receiving station, but it is not. The technician was stumped. I suspect there's something specific that I need to do to make it work, since many PBXs can do this. The switch is a

TDM-400 and dialplan -- how to ring a SIP ex tension *before* answering the PSTN line?
the caller is out his money anyway when you call any phone and voicemail kicks in, although i think on a payphone they give you a 2 or 3 second window to hang up. Suggest you implement i'm here / i'm away dialplan logic or set the do not disturb button that way when someone calls and the guy is away it hits voicemail right away and the caller can hear this and still have the 2 or 3

What technology could my phone company be using?
I live in New Brunswick Canada. The phone company is Aliant. When you set up business service here, you can go with either analog or digital lines. This isn't a T1 or ISDN. They are talking individual lines direct to handsets that they provide. They offer the digital option with even very small ( 2 - 4) number of lines. What technology could this be? Is there any way to connect such a

Labelling a fortified GADM map plotted with ggplot and geom_map
I am having trouble getting data labels to display over the provinces in a GADM map of Canada. Specifically, I need the variable "Number" from the data set "by_province", grouped by "region", to appear on the corresponding regions of the map. The data set "by_province" looks like this: long lat order hole piece region

[LLVMdev] "symbol lookup error" while running a Simple Loop Pass
Problem solved. I was building llvm in a separate llvm-build directory. I built it within the llvm-src directory (which kept all the llvm .so and my pass' .so in the llvm-src/Release+Asserts/lib directory) to solve the problem. Can anyone tell me what's the difference between writing a pass as a "struct" (as in the tutorial) and as a "class" (as most developers do)?

Question on echo's for Canadian Asterisk users ...
Has anyone has issues with echo using a Wildcard with a PRI from a major Canadian Telco? (Bell, Telus, AllStream, Sprint, Group Telecom). We are using a T1 from GT that is giving use annoying echos whenever a SIP/IAX2 client calls a local analog line. Calling cells phones is no issue since its digital. Regardless, there should be no issue with echo on a PRI at all. NOC at GT is telling us

seed data
Hi I am using seed_fu to seed initial data to tables (http://github.com/mbleigh/seed-fu) . And in db/fixtures/state.rb I have values like (I am filling only two data for simplicity) State.seed_many(:name, :abbr,:fips,:country_id, [ { :name => "Alberta", :abbr => ''AB'',:fips => ''01'', :country_id => 2 }, { :name =>

[LLVMdev] Identifying the instructions that uses a pointer used as a function argument
Thanks for the reply. One question about saving graph by using xyplot
Hey, folk. I am trying to get many figures by using the function "xyplot" in the library "lattice". I tried to using the loop to finish it quickly. But I cannot open the saved file after I run the program. But if I use the function "plot" to get other simply figures, it can work. So I want to ask how I can get the saved figures by using "xyplot". The

[LLVMdev] Error While Inserting New Instruction to LLVM IR
Hello; I wanted to insert two new terminator instructions in LLVM IR. I modified the necessary files (as mentioned in the tutorial in LLVM site and some more to meet the new structure of LLVM, (e.g no Lexer.l now, we have LLLexer.cpp. Again in the tutorial, files like LLVMBitCodes.h, include/llvm-c/core.h that need to be modified are not mentioned) But I am getting the error while building

And if I run my pass like this - opt -S -loops -load /home/arnie/llvm-clang/llvm/Release+Asserts/lib/XYZ.so -xyz <b.bc> b1.bc I want to get b.bc in the pass. Can R do specific factor analysis?
Hello, Can R do factor analysis using eigenvalue greater than one to automatically determine the number of factors to extract? I am afraid that R cannot provide the function we want. But I can use R to write a function to do the specific factor analysis. Because the functions needed for developing the factor analysis is provided by R, it should be easy to write the factor analysis. I

Printer Configurations
We are running multiple SAMBA servers but they all access the same printers, so I would like to copy the config files (as there are about 100 printers) from the main server to the others so that al the attached drivers and comments and such are intact. Any ideas on this one? BTW Our servers are running Solaris8, Linux (red hat 7.2), etc... -- -Broderick Wood- Analyst, Systems Support Group
