TE405P vs. SoundCard problem
My Asterisk server believes that a Digium TE405P and sound are incompatible. Basically, no matter what else I do to the machine it terms of hardware, if the TE405P is installed, none of the playback/background/etc commands work. MOH works fine. So far, I have tried: 1) Seven different PCI soundcards with different chipsets. (Go go Computer Junk Store!) 2) Disabling each and every device

TE405P w/ Intel SE7210TP1_E Motherboard
Hello, I'm looking at building a couple new PRI Gateway boxes using TE405P cards, and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences (good or bad) with the Intel SE7210TP1_E motherboards from Intel. General Technics builds some really nice (and cost effective) 1U servers based on the board: Server: http://www.gtweb.net/gt637.html Specs:

RESOLVED - TE405P vs. SoundCard problem (in reality - TE405P No Voice Problem)
Forget the sound card. It isn't related. The subject above should have read 'TE405P No Voice Problem' or something similar. It appears to be a zaptel timing issue, but I have found a workaround. For those of you just tuning in, here is the story: I have a CentOS/Intel 865 box currently running Asterisk 1.2.7.1 and zap 1.2.5, both compiled from the source available off the main

TE405P and quality problem
Hi, I've got an * box with 4 E1 (TE405P) and a Class 4 Cirpack switch (www.cirpack.com). <IP Network>--<*>-[TE405P]-<Cirpack>-<Public PSTN Network> ISDN interco is EuroIsdn, ports are configured ccs, hdb3, crc4. Cirpack is Network, * is Terminal/User. As I encountered some pb with Sip to Zap transcoding (* to Cirpack way poor quality, the other way fine), I

TE405P Dropping Calls
Hi, Urgently response would be wonderful, system is a Fedora Core 2. I have a Ericsson BP250 connected to 1 port on the TE405P and another connected to a local telco ISDN30. I have been running CVS-HEAD from about a 2 months ago and upgraded it again just in cause it was a version issue (didn't fix it) but this is what I am getting. When a person calls out from an extension on the BP250 to

Using a TE405P to connect to an existing PBX
We originally purchased a TE405P so we could connect our Asterisk server directly to the T1 PRI from our provider, however due to all the problems reported with T1 PRI's interacting directly with Asterisk, we scrapped that idea and decided to stick with our Cisco router making the conversion to SIP. Anyways, we found a new potential use for it. We have an old location with an existing PBX,

TE405P + Adit 600 and FXO module - should this work?
Folks, I'm experimenting with bringing multiple (8) analog lines from our local telco into a Carrier Access ADIT 600 channel bank with an FXO module, then having this talk to Asterisk via the T1 TDM controller on the ADIT and a TE405P card. I don't know if this will work well (ie: give me decent echo cancellation, call disconnect supervision, caller ID etc) but I haven't had much

void your warranty and get a 3.3V/5V TE405P
http://www.mixdown.ca/~asterisk/ The card seems to be working fine. Don't expect warranty on it though. :-) Why? Because I wanted a quad-span T1 card which worked in the high-end systems I was intending it for, but that I could also keep a few in stock and if the system mainboard failed, pull the card an put it in a standard PC system. I didn't want to have to stock 3.3V and 5V

About TE405P Digium Card
Hi Everybody, Is there anyone who already uses Asterisk with TE405P card? Is this card going well with the old E400P or T400P drivers? Are there a lot of differences? In the card's data sheet writes this sentece: "Digium has designed the TE405P to be fully compatible with existing software applications..." Is this meaning the the old drivers are also OK for this card? Thank you

[Asterisk-Dev] TE405P/410P (Quad-T1/E1) driver
Hello, I would like to know if FreeBSD has drivers for TE405P cards submitted to the ports. I have acquired a card and would really like to use it with FreeBSD. The wiki said the drivers havent been tested yet. Have there been any updates since then? regards Kavit _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Dev mailing list Asterisk-Dev@lists.digium.com

TE405P Dropping Calls. !! Got I-frame while linkstate 0
I would say it's almost certainly a cabling issue of some sort. We get the "S-frame while link down" message all the time on our Asterisk clusters due to the way the T1 failover switch works. It's harmless in our case since really the PRI is connected to the other box in the cluster (unless there is a card failure, of course). But for your application, I'm sure you'd

memory error? TE405P problem?
I'm having a problem with one of our newly built call processors. I'm using the stable branch of the asterisk code with a single TE405P on a P4 3.2ghz running kernel 2.6.6 with Hyperthreading and APIC enabled. The machine has 1GB of RAM and HIMEM is enabled in the kernel. Calls terminate properly and everything seems to work okay, but the system died after only being up one day with the

TE405P V2 changes?
Hi I got the 2nd Gen firmware upgraded on the TE405P. I recompiled after putting in the upgraded board but did not change any conf, but the spans become active but will not come up. I guess I am missing something or are the any changes to the zaptel/libpri software that is required. I cannot find any info about this or does this new firmware only work with latest CVS. I am using 1.0.9 with

RAID/SCSI/IDE/SATA and a TE405P (or T100P) c ard. Should I expect problems?
Hello, We use all SCSI PCI card hardware RAIDs on all 4 of our production Asterisk servers. They all have Digium quad T1 cards and they all have from 2 to 4 T1s hooked up to them. We have had no noticable problems with dropped calls/poor quality. What are you looking to do with this system? what kind of traffic will be going through these 4 T1s? Choosing between TE405P and TE410P
Is there anything to choose, in performance, between a TE405P and a TE410P? I understand the difference between the PCI bus voltages, and certainly don't intend to try Andrew's hacksaw operation :-). But if I choose the card first, and a compatible mobo second, does it make any difference which? Cheers Tony -- Tony Mountifield Work: tony@softins.co.uk - http://www.softins.co.uk Play:
