zttest
I was browsing the applications developed in zaptel and came across zttest. After I run it, I get the following: Opened pseudo zap interface, measuring accuracy... 99.975586% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 100.000000% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.975586% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793% 99.987793%

Compatibility Issues with dell poweredge 1950 and TE110P card
Has anyone had any compatibility issues with a TE110P card installed on a Dell Poweredge 1950? I noted the following error on the LCD display of the Dell Poweredge 1950: E1711 PCI PErr Slot 1 E171F PCIE Fatal Error B0 D4 F0. The Dell hardware owners manual states that it means the system BIOS has reported a PCI parity error on a component that resides in PCI configuration space at bus 0,

Opinions on renice or turning off swap or ramdis k as swap?
I have 4 gig in my * box. I'm tuning for performance and I'd like to ask opinions: 1. asterisk -p == renice -20 ?? 2. I've turned off swap with no apparent ill effects. Can anyone commment on long term effects with moderate load (say, 30 SIP phones / 2-3K calls /day) 3. Can anyone comment on using ramdisk as swap and whether this is a good idea or bad idea? I'm using 2.6

Set PCI device latency from domU?
If a PCI device has been passed to a domU is it possible to set its latency from the domU or does it have to be done from the domO? When I attempt to set a devices latency from the domU with setpci I do not receive an error message back indicating a problem, however the latency as viewed with lspci -v is not changed. The same setpci command from the dom0 successfully changes the latency and the

Multiple cards using same IRQ - getting IRQ errors and hissing
I am running Asterisk 1.16.2.13, dahdi 2.4.0 and libpri 1.4.11.4 on an HP ML110 G6 using Ubuntu Linux 10.04 LTS. I have two Digium TE121 single T1 port cards and a Digium AEX800 8-port FXS card. All PCI Express cards. Co-workers are hearing hissing sounds on some calls, and I am getting IRQ errors when running "dahdi show status". I see that sharing IRQs for Digium cards isn't

setpci and xen
Is there anything special I need to know in Dom0 when trying to use setpci to enable and move the boot ROM on an Ethernet adapter? I am able to enable the ROM, but it is in the same place as the RAM, and I can''t seem to move it. I have 1Gb of RAM, which I believe is mapped from 0x00000000 to 0x3fffffff, but the ROM is set to 0x3ff00000, and using something like: setpci -s 01:0b.0

PCI Problems
OK... maybe I got a little anxious and ran out and bought a Tyan GX28 with dual Opteron (dual core) processors. (It is a nice server ;) ) I did neglect to find out that you can not manually set the IRQ's on this motherboard. I am now stuck sharing an IRQ with the ethernet controller and no foreseeable end to my dilemma. I have a Digium TE210P and zttest consistently runs at 99.97% which

Winbind and trusted domains
Does Samba has a problem working with trusted domains ? I have two trusted domains and a Samba server 2.2.2 configured with winbind running on RH 7.0, after working for a week its now only showing me the remote domain groups and not the local domain groups. The remote domain is called Sxxx and the local one Txxxx, does samba consider an alphabetical order or somethig like that when working with

xtabs
Hi, In Splus if I call the function crosstabs() the output is a contigency table; in each cell of the table is printed: N, N/RowTotal, N/ColTotal, N/Total. N is the number of observations in each cell. The same call to xtabs() in R will produce the contigency table but the only entry in each cell is N. How can I get the same relative frequencies that crosstabs() gives? Thanks, mike --

Fax and Asterisk
Hi I am trying to build reliable fax solution with asterisk, iaxmodem and hylafax. I am attempting to do this on Compaq DL-360 with 2 pentium 3 1.2GHz (512 cache) and 2GB of RAM. I am using a Sangoma A101. After installing the newest zaptel and wanpipe-3.1.0 beta I did zttest and it didn't give me good results: 99.975586% 99.975586% 99.975586% 99.975586% 99.975586% 99.975586% 99.975586%

[PATCH v3 00/16] virtio-pci: towards virtio 1.0 guest support
Hi, > BTW: is there a tool (or pciutils patch) which can decode the virtio > capabilities? Searched for a patch today, and all google found me was this mail asking for one :-o So I went ahead and coded one up. Attached. While hacking it up I've noticed spec doesn't match reality. The "Virtio Structure PCI Capabilities" section here ...
