Major problems with TDM400 and specific telephones: suggestions?
Hello! Attached to the bottom of this e-mail is an edited version of an e-mail I originally wrote to Digium tech support regarding Ouch and Power alarm errors I have been receiving on my TDM400. It contains a great deal of detail regarding my setup. In the end, I have found that one of the 5 phones I'm trying to make work with Asterisk is contributing to the generation of these errors.

Instalation with a customized kernel
Hi all I don't know if it's the right place to ask for this problem. I just install my server with centos4.5, using PXE/http protocol. ALl goes very well. My asking is that i need a customized kernel to use all of the posibilities of my server. This kernel, made as an rpm file, run well on it. But i would like to be able to install the server directly with this kernel, using PXE/http..

Network hangs after several hours (Centos 6 recently upgraded kernel/glibc)
Hi all, We have a development server we have just tried updating the kernel & glibc after recent recommendations. Its been stable previously for a few years with only scheduled reboots. Its running Centos 6.6(final) 2.6.32-573.18.1.el6.x86_64 GNU libc 2.12 Upgraded via YUM, rebooted, all fine for several hours, and then network seemed to hang. Problem with folder redirection and "guest user"
Hi all, I am setting up my second server with Samba 3.0.21c with LDAP as described in Samba3-ByExample. The server OS is Slackware Linux 10.2, without PAM. All seemed to work perfect until I decided to try folder redirection. I followed the instructions given in the "happy users" chapter, but now new users cant log in. When trying to log in with a new user (umgrtest16) from a WinXP SP2

USB blues
I have a freshly built, updated EL6 system and am having problems with USB stability - at boot everything works fine but within a few hours, USB devices start disappearing randomly. At first I though the USB devices were suspect, but removing the suspect devices and an accessory PCIE USB card hasn't changed anything. As of now, a single USB device is working. (which is lucky, it hosts the

Assistance in tracking a kernel/nouveau error
Greetings, I am resending this as it doesn't appear in the archives and no one responded...maybe it got routed to /dev/null or something :-) I have asked this question the Scientific Linux mailing list (a few months ago) and got the suggestion I talk to the kernel guys. I pinged a kernel guy I know, and his suggestion was to ask the Nouveau list. So here I am. :-) I have had my work laptop

S100-FX v2.0
I just saw the S100-FX v2.0 on eBay. I was wondering if anyone has tried it out and what their opinion of it was. ---- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions http://www.ics-il.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Digium Iaxy S100 Factory Default?
Hi All, I have two old S100 units (the blue ones, not the newer black ones). I am trying to reset these to factory default using the following instructions, but it is not working. Does anyone have any other suggestions to reset this model of the adapter? Tried this: 1. Remove all of the cables, except for the power cable. 2. The factory reset button is next to the RJ45 jack. Press and hold the

Yes, it's a constant register. Because the instruction cannot contain an immediate value, a constant value may be stored in a constant register, and it's defined _before_ the program starts by

SIP and special functions - do they work?
Do functions like call forwarding, do not disturb and so on work with SIP phones? I had these features working with the S100 USB device but can't seem to get them to work with the phones that are plugged into the ATA186s. Also, how do I get an extension that's plugged into an ATA186 to present caller ID? Thanks...

Upgraded to 2.9p1 with no luck..
Howdy, After upgrading to 2.9 (OpenSSH_2.9p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090600f) I'm unable to ssh between two systems any more (the two that I've upgraded). I've recompiled from the original source several times, each time with no errors, regenerated host keys, regenerated client keys (using rsa), etc., to no avail. Below are some relevant snippets of debugging output
