mysql won't start
OK so at some point I borked my mysql 4.1.20 installation on my x86_64 system. Possibly relevant: I have enabled the centosplus repository in yum.conf because I needed a package from there. I have not upgraded mysql from there. Everything was working, then "something" aparrently happened, and now mysql won't start. The logs say: 061031 11:37:38 mysqld started 061031 11:37:38

The faq from the centos.org site mentions something like 72 hrs (or less) from one security update to goes from the sources.rpm from rh to centos. I was cheking rh's site (https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/rhel4as-errata.html) and saw one update to mysql

Nusphere PHPEd 7.0 installed smoothly without any error, but
Hello. Ubuntu 11.10 Wine 1.3.28 Just installed Nusphere PHPEd 7.0 without any trouble. After I double click it, I can see the splash screen and then the main screen. centosplus + priority plugin
I have a Centos 4 box that has been updated all the way to 4.6 without using the centosplus repository. Now I want to use the centosplus repository for Centos 4 to get the latest LAMP, mod_perl, perl and other perl modules so that I can install rt 3.6.6 and its necessary modules. However, for some reason, the latest perl package in the centosplus repository does not appear on the radar when
