Monthly billing and payment processor recommendations?
Hi, I''m setting up a site that will bill on a monthly basis. I would rather not have to worry about storing customer credit card information. Does anyone have recommendations on payment processors that offer monthly billing services? I don''t want to go the paypal route as I want the user to stay on the site. I''m hoping to find an API to integrate with. I have

New ip billing solution?? any updates?
Hi people, i've seen the wiki looking for a * billing solution but the links point to websites that have not updated their content (or news) section for over a year. Can anyone recommend a commercial-grade (i mean no mom&pop cdr system) billing solution that can start small and then scalate as traffic grows and tested/used with Asterisk before? commercial or open source links are ok.

Billing solution
Can anyone recommend a call accounting solution with rating for post paid billing that works well with asterisk using the account code or any other info from the CDR? I don't want the billing software to any phone calls for me, therefore any solution that modifies my extensions.conf is out, nor does it have to allow for customers the ability to log in to check their usage/balances. I have

Asterisk on Solaris
Hello Everyone, I have bumped into the thralling penguin page on linux vs solaris for asterisk. Does the benchmark still hold with the newer versions of kernels? Curious to know of your thoughts. Also, they mentioned running it on Sun Fire x2100, but no benchmarks were given for that. Can increased performance be accomplished simply by changing to Solaris or OpenSolaris? Kind Regards, Nick.

Asterisk billing solution
Hello. I am looking for a simple Asterisk billing solution. I expect about 50-100 users (a mix of IAX and SIP) through 3-5 outgoing providers (all IAX). I need something that can handle monthly fees and per call charges (depending on destination, obviously), and should provide a web interface for customers and administrators. Something that can tie in to one of the existing management GUIs

OT -- billing and estimating, good resources?
OK, so for most of my career, I''ve done everything on an hourly rate. Recently somebody kind of pointed out that if you bill by the milestone you can work on multiple projects simultaneously without any ethical problems, so you get increased efficiency. Does anyone have any good advice/URLs/books on how to do cost estimates on a project? I''ve really always kind of avoided the

Alternative billing for A2Billing because of using Dial function with analogue lines
Hello All; After trying A2Billing and certainly when the trunk is analogue lines (FXO ports), I faced a problem that the channels were not hanged up properly from time to time which cause us to do restart for the dahdi. Without A2Billing, I was able to handle the Dial scenario properly and no hanging for the analogue channels and no need to restart dahdi from time to time.? Really I would if

But if you need realtime billing then the most stable and flexible option is to use FastAGI+ AMI. I have tested it in JAVA and it

Billing: amaflags and accountcode
Hi all, I have about 10 SIP phones for different users defined in sip.conf, each with their own accountcode= entry. There is a global setting in sip.conf that states amaflags=documentation There are 3 IAX->PSTN gateways defined in iax.conf for outbound calls. These do not have an accountcode=, but do have amaflags=billing defined in each. The theory was that all calls should be logged, those

ANNOUNCEMENTt: GPL Asterisk Billing Software
Good Day, I'm finally getting around to officially announcing ASTPP. For the last 6 months, I've been working on converting ASTCC into a decent billing package for asterisk. I'm just finishing up fixing a few bugs before the 1.0 release and would appreciate if there would be a few who would be willing to do some testing on the software. Here is a list of features: Provide call

[ADV/ANN] Easy recurring billing with Authorize.net
I have just put out an update to the SaaS Rails Kit, a sample Rails application that implements recurring billing. This update adds support for the Authorize.net payment gateway. With the Rails Kit and Authorize.net CIM, you get a complete and very flexible subscription billing system that you can use as a starting point for building your software-as-a-service Rails application, so you can skip

[Asterisk Users] Help with SIP Hosted Billing Service
Hello All, I am trying to connect to a third party's SIP based Hosted Billing service that supports G729 as I have found it difficult to get hold of prepaid billing solution for Asterisk. DID billing
Hi all, Aside from the obvious answer "write your own", anyone know of any DID billing software out there? I'm looking to possibly resell som DIDs to people and want to charge some per/minute rate when forwarding to their ATA devices. I can pull the data off mysql and create invoices but I'm kinda looking for an app similar to ASTCC, A2Billing, etc. where everything happens
