SUSE 9.2 and Zaptel channels
Of course I am not a kernel expert, so .. please be patient. I am investigating on my zaptel/zapata problem. My first Asterisk - Not recognizing X100P clone
Hi, I'm cutting my teeth setting up a home asterisk server, but having some trouble getting Zaptel to recognize a X100P clone PCI (Motorola SM56 which should work according to various wiki's). What struck me was that the "/proc/interrupts" do not include IRQ 11 as the "lpcpi -v" is reporting. Am I missing something fundamental here? Any hint is greatly

Hi, I am sorry if this message has been reposted, but for some reason I am having problems with posting it. I configured asterisk and zaptel modules with fedora2. I want to be able to load the zaptel wcfxo and wcfxs modules. For now I will use only the Wildcard TDM400P card. I am able to load the modules but I cant configure them using ztcfg or zttool because the tools are compiled to use the

Problems with udev on FC3
I've been testing * on FC3. I have everything compiled and installed. However, when I do 'modprobe wcfxo' (I have an X100P clone), I get the following in /var/log/messages: Nov 24 10:23:40 jfd wait_for_sysfs[3366]: either wait_for_sysfs (udev 039) needs an update to handle the device '/class/zaptel/zaptimer' properly (no device symlink) or the sysfs-support of your

Zap not installing
I have decided to move on from Asterisk@Home and start compiling asterisk myself now. I got a dedicated box and put my X100P in it. I installed the server version of CentOS 4.2 (2.6.9-22.EL kernel) barebones. The box is a dell GX270 workstation with 1GB of RAM. I got a fresh copy of O'Reilly's Asterisk the future of technology and begun. I downloaded the zaptel-1.2.4.tar.gz, libpri-1.0.9,

S100U on RH9
Hi, I have been trying to figure out why the S100U is not performing very well on RH9.. Here is my thinking..( may be totally wide of the mark but here goes anyway) I remember reading somwhere that the sound system used by RH has changed... Does the S100U not depend on the sound subsystem?? So what I think is that the sound subsystem in RH9 and the S100U are not happy working together.. Does

Zaptel problem after upgrading to 1.2.16
Hi guys, I'm hoping I've made a silly mistake here, but I've been staring at the screen for the past few hours and I can't work it out. I upgraded to 1.2.16 recently, and am having problems with zaptel. The card is detected, I get a reasonable output from ztcfg -vv, and zttool shows the installed module (TDM400) with one FXS module. But when I start asterisk, I get
