IAX channel unable to create
I have two * boxes running two differnet versions of *. Box A is running: Asterisk CVS-HEAD-07/14/04-16:28:29 built by root@asterick.dell.cpu.com on a i686 running Linux Box B is running: Asterisk 1.0.3 built by root@dell.cpu.net on a i386 running FreeBSD I can make a IAX call from B to A but not from A to B. When I try to make a call from A to B I get these messages: Feb 21 12:48:12

IAX - newbie question
Dear all, I've been taking my baby-steps toward setting up an Asterisk phone system in my office, as also between my home and office (connected by DSL). I'm have a rough time getting two * boxes talk IAX over a LAN. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but am attaching my iax.conf and extensions.conf on both the boxes. IAX2 Port issue
Trying to configure IAX for use I think I have everything set right. But my IAX phone wont connect. Newbie needs audio help
My first Asterisk install: Debian sarge with the 2.6 kernel, and two X-Lite soft-phones. I followed the online how-to documents and was calling between the two soft-phones and calling the demo system with no problems and had full audio. I then went on to configure the TDM400P's two FXS modules. I got into that a ways and was having some success, but no dial-tone when I was off the

To simplify the problem I've brought it down to the following scenario: - 3 Asterisk Server A,B and C (central). - A and B both register with C.
