Recomended Virtual Host setup
Hello, I want to ditch cPanel I currently have on my server, so I'm thinking of the way to implement virtual hosts with software provided by CentOS/RadHat. I know I can use additional repos to get mod_fastcgi for example, but what is the method recommended by RadHat? I want every virtual host php process to run as owner of that php file. I see that mod_suphp and mod_fastcgi are available on

For 25 systems and if you want this done without spending to much time, Clarkconnect would by my first choice for server side OS (#2 would be SME). For me CentOS x64 is #1 choice for enterprise (+500 users with Terabytes of storage ) sever solution. If you have little

I'm currently using the # attended transfer patch for * but would like to get back to using the

I cannot make calls between those two. With 'sip show channels' I can see 1-3 active SIP channels without doing anything on

Bug Help or Suggestion - Grandstream GXP2000 (firmware 1.0.2.8) - BLF, Hints, call-limit
Version - Asterisk SVN-trunk-r12793M (1.2.4) I have 4 Grandstream GXP 2000 phones configured. However at the moment, I have had to disable BLF, Hints, and Call Limiting due to an extremely annoying bug which seems to make the phones channels "lock" in busy after a call has been hungup. If I do a show hints after say extension 200 has hung up I get the following -= Registered

hw raid 10 with 4 disc, recomended partitiontable
I am familiar with centos and this forum, and have some rhel / centos questions. Therefore I'm asking the question here I am about to install rhel4.5 on a hp dl380 with 4 disc's. The standard rhel installation installers all in one partition? Will there be any advantage of splitting the file system up? What would be a good recommended partition table for a server running scripts

oVirtBIOS : Virtualization Firmware
Misters, Let me introduce myself : Guillaume FORTAINE, Engineer in Computer Science. Me and my partners are currently working on a Virtualization Firmware. After an analysis of the various solutions (Citrix, VMware and Microsoft), it seemed natural to our eyes, to enable a true bare-metal hypervisor, to go as close as possible to the hardware, hence the BIOS. That's why we are currently

Feasibility of Tinc vpn with my current setup.
Thanks for the reply Guss, So in my case the Amazon VPS server is behind a FULL CONE NAT(static NAT), so is that enough to hole punch other nodes. what all ports will should be opened up on the NAT device? Most of the other nodes are behind cg-nat, so I wont have any control over its nat. Thank you, Regards, Bobby Thomas. On Oct 19, 2015 1:45 AM, "Guus Sliepen" <guus at

mysql based adressbook with agi and web interface ?
Hi, I'm looking for adressbook that could easily integrate into Asterisk, so it should: - have agi script to search for caller id name - have fields for notes on previous contacts (for CRM spawning of FOP) - have web interface to edit entries easily ... Any advice, pointers ? What is your favourite address book to use with Asterisk ? Regards, Rob.

Asterisk to sip client behind Firewall/NAT-cancall but cannot receive calls ?
As far as I can remember I only opened sip and tftp ports for the phone. For some reason (didn't look into it too much) the call stays with sip and doesn't use RTP. The problem you describe (the call doesn't even ring on the other side) is something I had and was solved by upgrading the firmware. Checkpoint's tracker explicitly said what connection attempts were blocked and why.

Feasibility of Tinc vpn with my current setup.
Hi all, I am new to Tinc VPN and really would like to make full benefit of this implementation if possible. I would like to know whether I will be able to use Tinc to its full potential. My current setup is as follows, IPfire router/firewall(openvpn client) --->ISP(Internet)--->Amazon VPS(openvpn server). The ipfire router is behind a CARRIER-GRADE NAT, I am able to reach the network
