Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 5, Issue 158
I am sorry that I was not more clear. I am only looking for departments that will > fit into the string: > "press 1 for the DEPT department" or "press 1 for DEPT" the 'into' is what I should have been clearer about. I am only looking for words that will fit into the DEPT portion of the above strings. As you mention we already have press, the numbers, for,

I don't think it's the snom, (the break key is set to "off") the "#" key is not being interpereted by the PBX as an attempt to initiate a transfer. Is this an error in my extensions.conf? Computing time when calling C functions - why does an extra function call induce such an overhead?
Dear list, I am a little puzzled by computing time in connection with calling C functions. With the function mysolve1 given below I solve Ax=B, where the actual matrix operation takes place in mysolve2. Doing this 5000 times takes 3.51 secs. However, if I move the actual matrix inversion part into mysolve1 (by uncommenting the two commented lines and skip the call to mysolve2) then the

FW: Samba on Win2K
After I made the following changes to get my Win2k machine to be able to mount my Unix disk, now my Win95 machine is not able to mount the Unix disk (using 'map network drive'). It asks me for a password but says the password is invalid, it is the same password that is used on the Win95 and Unix machines... help > -----Original Message----- > From: Barker, Brian W. > Sent:

Hi, I''ve read that Dr. Dobbs Journal''s last issue has a cover article about Rails titled "Ruby On Rails - Java''s Successor?". Can''t find anything about it in http://www.ddj.com Does someone have the paper edition and can confirm that, and tell how the article looks like, and so on. IAXTEL is dead/dying?
I didn't get any response at all to my last "request for status" on IAXTEL. So, when this happens, I attribute it to one of a number of things: 1. No-one knows. 2. No-one cares. 3. Everyone knows, but are too busy to reply. At any rate, my investigative side kicks in and I began searching thru the digest's I've gotten, looking for references to IAXTEL. Mostly it is

Public reposurgeon repo
There is now a public reposurgeon repository at: git at gitorious.org:reposurgeon/reposurgeon.git I've tagged 2.0pre9 there, for two purposes: * Charles can verify that I've solved the missing-files problem. * Hartmut can rework the few of his patches I didn't merge into reposurgeon. Charles, our next and final challenge is to generate proper merge commits in the NUT repo

Unable to browse or open Macromedia flash 8 .flas
I'm unable to browse flash 8 .flas. This is a pc with 7.10. When I am able to browse .flas, I get an error when trying to open them. I've even copied the .flas to the wine drive_c folder to see if that would make a difference but it didn't. All of the .flas that I have are in file format flash 8 or earlier. I even tried another pc with 8.04 installed and that didn't make a

Wireless cannot ping gateway after 6.3 CR updates
I'm having a wireless connection issue with an HP laptop and a Zotac media server after the 6.4 package updates from CR repository. Nothing changed with wireless config as far as I can tell. Both have been working fine with previous releases of 6.x. Oddly, if a cat 5 cable is connected for a few seconds and then disconnected the wireless works fine and survives a 'service network

IAXy echo avoidance/cancellation
Ok, I searched the lists and found no definitive answer. I'm assuming the IAXy has some primitive form of echo cancel, is there anyway to adjust this? Or any ideas on what to do instead. Here's the setup, this will not be a typical setup for our company however, well whatever. Anyway it looks like this: IAXy --> Netgear router --> Charter --> Level3 --> Asterisk --> VOIP or

[LLVMdev] Benchmarks
Dear List, There's been some recent discussion on the list about benchmarks. I just read a Dr. Dobbs article on the relative runtime performance of various compilers (8 of them compared) on Intel platforms. The test focused on mainly template type things but offers Dhrystone and zlib for comparisons. There's no clear winner as all compilers perform well in some areas and poorly in
