Zap Channel error using 4-port FXO TDM400P
I have been having some troubles with the zaptel channel on what appears to be the inbound process. The box is running the stable CVS code and has a TDM400P 4-port FXO card in it for analog connectivity. Channel 1 is the only active port on the card at the moment as we only have one analog line. What has been happening is that it looks like Asterisk has been detecting an inbound call even though

FireFly client and echo problems with IAX
Hello, I am having horrible echo problems when using the FireFly client on both the caller and callee sides of the call. When I use another IAX soft client like IAXcomm or IAXPhone I do not have the same echo problems. Has anyone else experienced this and do you know what might be the problem? Thanks, dj -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

*** Spam *** Don't use CDRTool From AG-projescts
This post cannot be left without comment. People who don't know you or Adrian might get a wrong impression. I know Adrian quite well and know that he is one of the real experts in this industry and he and his stuff does not deserve such a treatment. I would recommend that you change your attitude. It seems like you did not get what you want (for free) and you complain like a small child. An

IAX to IAX call with really bad echo
All, I have spent the last couple of days looking through the mail archives and the documentation on the Wiki, but have not been able to find a solution to the problem. The version of code I am running is from CVS as of 6/30/04. What happens is that when I make an IAX call to another IAX client the caller receives a really bad echo. All of the documentation I found around using

Fwd: [Serusers] CDR mediation for VoIP
FYI, for those of you who aren't on the serusers list. I'd like to hear how others can get this working in small Asterisk settings; I don't really have the time to implement it, but it looks very interesting. Rating application for Asterisk
Does anyone knows a working FOSS rating application for Asterisk? I tried CDRTool, but since it's free for non commercial use, it won't suit me. Also I gave a shot at Trabas (the one everybody says it sucks), but I couldn't understand how does it pull records from Asterisk's CDR table. The rate-engine addon (http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk+addon+rate-engine)

asterisk-addons unable to compile
Hello, I know that there was a previous posting regarding this in which the addition of: CFLAGS+=-I../asterisk/include fixed the problem, but I have tried that and am still getting the following when trying to run make: ./mkdep -fPIC -I../asterisk/include/asterisk -I../asterisk -D_GNU_SOURCE -I/usr/include/mysql `ls *.c` cc -fPIC -I../asterisk/include/asterisk -I../asterisk -D_GNU_SOURCE

Billing and CDR's
Hmmm, perhaps I am the only one who doesn't trust their telco (I doubt it) but... I have the rates that I currently pay my telco, and would like to extract my CDR's and add an additional field displaying the actual price paid for the call. I would like to do this based on destination phone number, and outgoing channel. However, I have a few difficulties: 1) I pay a different rate for

asterisk and radius?
Hi all, I have been looking at some billing solutions for asterisk. I saw there is Trabas VoIP Billing which apparently is working through radius cdr records, and also astPP which was recently released, and CDRTool. Has anyone been able to succeffully use radius with asterisk for CDR records? I tried app_radius with freerdius according to the wiki docs, but the Radius(CPP) keeps playing a

There are a solution ?
Karl u say, have an encoder send a never ending playlist to djs.ogg on your dj icecast and have each dj mountpoint state a fallback of djs.ogg. That way the listener relay will always pick something up. <p>So it´s very simple, i do a dj with the ircbrasil.ogg and a fallback playlist.ogg o, when onde disconnect for the other enter, the playlist will assume and my listenners will not

Just wondering if any new CDR functionality made it into the 1.4.16.2 release? I have looked through the ChangeLog for the 1.4.15 and 1.4.16.2 releases but didn't spot anything to do with changes in CDR handling. I for one

How to calculate the derivative of matrix w.r.t another matrix?
Dear All I have a problem of calculating the derivative of dxm matrix A with respect to another dxm matrix B, where A= [a1 a2 ... am] and B =[b1 b2 ... bm] with ai and bj are vectors. Actually the matrix A itself is the first order derivative of a scalar J with respect to B, i.e., A = dJ/dB, where a1 = dJ/db1, a2 = dJ/db1, and so on. Now dA/dB is the second order derivative dA/dB =
