Sipura 2000 Dial Plan
Anybody ever run into a case where the Sipura Dial Plan will not work with the S0 option to immediately connect? My Dial plan reads (*xx|[3469]11S0|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxxS0|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0) and I can dial ONLY then numbers in the dial plan so I know that it works. For some reason when I dial 5551212 1212121212 It does not dial for a while and then it dials 555 1212 Anyone have any ideas?

Sipua SPA-2000 and liong delay after dialling number
When I use an analog phone connected to a Sipura SPA-2000 it takes about 3-4 seconds before the number is actually dialled. Very annoying especially if you are connecting an intercom to it. Can I change this behaviour and do I need to look at * config or the config of the SPA-2000? Thanks!

Sipura 3000 dialing "noise"
Hi all, We have several sipura 3000's working well for outbound calls, however the issue we have is that when calls are sent to the Sipura with Dial(SIP/${EXTEN:0}@sipura1) the Sipura does a SIP answer immediately and then proceeds with the call "in band" therefore sending dialing sounds back to the caller. Other SIP gateways we have notably the Vegastream and others do not do a SIP

Sipura 2000 behind NAT issue, Vonage is working
Hi, I'm trying to configure Sipura 2000 (behind NAT) which connects to Asterisk (public IP, no NAT) and having interesting results. When Sipura is behind Linux/NAT firewall it works great and no special NAT settings on Sipura are necessary. The issue I'm having is when Sipura is behind Linksys broadband NAT router. Sipura gets registered with Asterisk just fine, but I can't hear

Sipura SPA-3000 call progress, and interdigit delays
Hello, I've been experimenting with Asterisk 1.0.6 and a Sipura SPA-3000, and I've run into a couple of questions I haven't yet found clear answers to: It appears that the SPA-3000 has no call progress on it's FXO interface? Asterisk considers a dial() as answered when the SPA-3000 has dialed the number on the PSTN line, not when someone has answered a phone on the

connecting a sipura sip device to asterisk before dialing any digits
I would like the ability for a sipura sip device to instantly connect to an asterisk server as soon as the sipura sip device goes offhook and before any digits are pressed. This way asterisk can provide the dialtone and the dialplan. This also allows me to play a greeting to the phone before giving them a dialtone. Is there any way to do this, like possibly having the sipura device dial a

Sipura 2000 Transmit Issues? No Sound being passed to caller
I've been beating my head for 5 hours to figure out why my asterisk server or sipura isn't passing my voice over to the caller. It seems i can hear the caller but they can't hear me it seems either the asterisk or the sipura isn't passing this information. Here's my setup specs asterisk server 0.7.1 - X100P Card - Sipura 2000 - Nufone Service - Voicepulse

Asterisk & Sipura 2000
I have been trying to read everything I can find on Sipura 2000 and Asterisk. I am trying to make the Sipura-2000 act as two analog lines off my asterisk. I have followed (what I believe) the example on http://www.voxilla.com/Article39.phtml and I still can't get my Sipura to register with my Asterisk server. I can re-config my Sipura to talk to fwd, or voice-pulse connect and it works

Sipura SPA-2000
Hello, I am very new to asterisk and voip in general and so far have managed to get the FXO card and a few sip phones working fine. My question is where does the Sipura SPA 2000 come in the picture? Can it be used as an extension (i.e FXS) ? Or is it to be used as a line (i.e FXO)? Or it can be used as both? My understanding is that its just like another ATA186. Is that true? I guess what I

PAP2 Dialing Delay
Possibly OT? I've hooked up a Linksys PAP2 to my Asterisk 1.6 fairly painlessly. The only issue I can't beat with it is the dial delay when calling internal or external numbers. No matter what it seems to take 10 -15 seconds to actually dial. I've altered the device removing all *xx combos and unnecessary waffle and cut the dialplan string to (x.S0) but the problem persists. Anyone

Sipura 2000 not answering em_w calls
I recently purchased a Sipura 2000 and connected a phone to it which is connected to my asterisk box via sip. Calls to the Sipura 2000 work fine from another sip device connected through *, from either an fxo or fxs (via adtran channel bank connected to a T400P card) port. However, when a call comes in from the phone company over a T1 with em_w trunks, the phone on the Sipura will ring but I

Sipura 2000 x dual g729 channels x other choices?
I found a thread [1] last month about the poor/crappy g729 quality on Sipura units. Anyone noticed an improvement or the quality is still poor? If the Sipura firmware/g729 offers no quality yet, who else is offering a dual channel g729 ATA? I heard about Uniden, but I have no "reports" about their ATA... [1] Sipura g729 call quality to PSTN

Sipura 2000 w/fax machine oddities
I'm really trying to understand this. I have a Sipura 2000, brother MFC, and SpanDSP set up on asterisk. because asterisk softfax was not working well, i set up faxes to goto line2 on the sipura. this is working fine, i have only tested a few short faxes, but already my completion rate was 100% vs 5-10% that spandsp and asterisk gave me. here's the odd part. using the fax machine, I

Cisco ATA 186 from iconnecthere, locked?
I wanted to sign up for the pay as you go plan from iconnect anyway, and see they have the Cisco ATA for $99 and the Grandstream phone for $39.00 Anyone know if they ship these devices "locked"? I know iconnect seems pretty friendly about letting any sip device connect. What sucks is there is no way to contact this company if you're not a subscriber.. Zip, notta.. No email

Source for MD3200 modem cards?
It seems that the Apollo MD3200 winmodem sold my newegg no longer uses the MD3200 chipset. At least the $13 version I ordered arrived with a different chipset. I made them aware of the issue and hopefully they will be changing their description soon. Anyway, I'm looking for a new source now, anyone know where to get these cards cheap? I know there is ebay, but I'm thus far getting sellers

Parking & SIP Phones
Hello, I know not too long ago I saw /something/ _somewhere_ about an adjustment to call parking that allowed blind transfers from SIP phones to park a call and still be able to hear the parking lot stall number. Unfortunately, I have no idea where I saw that (google turned up little, couldn't find it on the list either). I'm using Sipura SPA-2000 adapters and it doesn't seem to

Sipura 2000 configuration.
Ok here is another problem I have run into. I have a Sipura 2000 and I have been able to configure line 1 with only one small problem. But I can't get the line 2 working with asterisk. Here are samples of my sip.conf and extensions.conf. If I disable line 1 I can then get line 2 working. Is there a sample configuration for the Sipura to get both ports working with Asterisk. Sipura SPA-2000 won't ring
I had a Grandstream 286 at my home hitting my Asterisk box at the office, all worked well and I received phone calls fine until the device just up and died. I replaced this unit with an SPA-2000 because I have been impressed with the Sipura devices and decided to use them for most of my needs in the future. Problem is that my phone attached to the device rings shortly after power up of the
