cdr_odbc with mysql on a remote server
I'm trying to add cdr_odbc.so to log my CDR data to a mysql DB. I've
managed to compile everything, and seem to almost be ready to head home.
I've added a small debug line to cdr_odbc.c as follows:
if((ODBC_res != SQL_SUCCESS) && (ODBC_res !=
SQL_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO))

Hello All:
I'm having some difficutly getting res_config_mysql from the 1.4.1 addons
package to compile ( I need it for Realtime)
First of all, when I make everything appears to compile ok with no errors
however the res_config_mysql doesn't get compiled. So I tried "make

Segfault when using res_config_odbc on x86_64
I'm trying to move our asterisk setup from an i686 server to an x86_64
(Dual AMD Opteron) server.
Everything has been manually compiled: MySQL 4.1.10, MyODBC 3.51.11,
unixODBC 2.2.10 (because I couldn't find any usable RPMs). And obviously
Asterisk, where I'm using the STABLE release CVS-Nv1-0-5-02/21/05. The
OS is Redhat Enterprise ES 4.0, kernel 2.6.9-5.0.3.ELsmp.

cdr_odbc.c:174 odbc_log: Unable to retrieve database handle. CDR failed.
Hi,
is cdr logging using odbc buggy? I'im only getting an error
"cdr_odbc.c:174 odbc_log: Unable to retrieve database handle. CDR failed.".
Connecting with isql to the datasource given in cdr_odbc.conf works just
fine, and using the database for sippeers also works.
The documentation[1] is confusing because it says freeTDS is required
and that you must not use multiple

chan_capi patch: app_capiFax modifications
Hi,
Since Carl has kindly provided us with fax support for CAPI based
cards, we have been using it with much success. Today I have modified
app_capiFax so that it now supports a dynamic CSID. The following
example uses the DNID created by chan_capi on an AVM Fritz! card.
* Receive a fax with CAPI API.
* Usage : capiAnswerFax2(path_output_file.SFF|stationID)

new application Dialtone()
Hello,
I created a new application for myself called Dialtone() by modifing
res/res_indications.c file. It can be used as such:
exten => s,4,Dialtone(30|${CALLERIDNUM})
exten => s,5,Playback(time-exceeded)
exten => s,6,Goto(s|1)
It will stutter if you have new voicemail and you have passed the mailbox
number as I did above. It will stop dialtone the moment you press a key

Problems with new logic being 'n' option to Queue in 1.4.9
I am experiencing a change in behaviour of my Queues in 1.4.9 vs 1.4.8.
I do not pass the 'n' option to any call to Queue() in my dialplan. Yet
since I upgraded to 1.4.9, I have occasionally seen this on my console:
-- Nobody picked up in 20000 ms
-- Exiting on time-out cycle
That log message "Exiting on time-out cycle" is exclusive to the logic in

Asterisk 1.6 and CDR/MySQL
HI,
I am trying to setup CDR with ODBC and MySQL but get the following error :-
[Apr 28 21:30:01] ERROR[14567]: cdr_odbc.c:133 odbc_log: Unable to retrieve database handle. CDR failed.
I can successfully connect with iSQL so ODBCINST and ODBC ini files must be okay. I have modified /etc/asterisk/cdr_odbc.conf to include :-

problem with cdr_odbc
Hi,
Has anyone made a successfull instalation of cdr_odbc??
I've install unixODBC-2.2.8 (made my own RPM) and then built the module.
I'm trying to send the cdrs to a M$ SQL server. The sql connection
works because I can do any query via isql.
When I do the calls I get the following output on the asterisk console:
