Panasonic KX-TD500
Anyone have any luck with connecting Asterisk to the Panasonic KX-TD500. I have Asterisk connected via crossover to the TE110P. We are able to make internal calls into the Asterisk Box but the PBX vendor (I know nothing about the KX-TD500) tells us it is not possible route DID over the trunk. I find this hard to believe. Anyone have any luck with this? Thanks! -------------- next part

Asterisk and Panasonic KX-TD1232
Hello We have around 50 phones in our company, and I am playing with the thought to gradually go over to using sip services and ip-phones internally. However at first I would liked the Asterisk just to sit between the phone line and the Panaosnic, so I can take out one lin/number at a time to use ip phones. I am new to Asterisk, and haven't done much configuring of the PBX either. So I also

Everything is working great except for one little issue. Asterisk isn't hanging up the PRI B channel when the PBX channel is hung up. I don't want to overload you with information but please ask if more is needed. I suspect I'm

a bit frightened, guys
Hi, I started looking into asterisk cause we're looking for a real-world solution. (when I say we I talk about a 50+ HQ and a 10+ branch office). We currently use a Panasonic analog PBX, with home-made IVR and PSTN lines. We'd like to deploy most of Asterisk's capabilities through out our organization - to save on long distance and international calls. I've been

Fw: a bit frightened, guys
Hi, I believe the issues raised by this message are the same as mine, more on a commercial sense than for self use, but mostly the same. I've seen posts where real-life installations are mentioned, but not a reference to how Asterisk is working on production (and productive) environments. Any experiences would be very welcome I believe, not only on pure technical, but wider, sense. Thanks

Is Asterisk ready for "real" use?
Okay, I am facing a move in two months to newly renovated space. I have to decide *this week* between: A) Pull LAN and phone cables, prepare to move and expand our "traditional" PBX (Panasonic KX-TD1232 and VPS200). or B) Pull only LAN cables, go VoIP, use Asterisk as PBX. It is *not* an option to purchase a VoIP system package from Cisco, 3com, etc. Installers are getting an

Hi. Please excuse me asking this again. But it really puzzles me. We're installing asterisk at a branch office at NJ (HQ is at Petach-Tikva) It'll need to support 5 POTS lines, 11 analog extensions and four VOIP phones. I wanted to go with a T1 card from digium and a channel bank, but we have a dead line. It has to be up and running by January 1st. I don't have the time to start
