Help with compilation of app_conference in x86_64
Any C gurus out there that can tell me if this code compiled ok to be
used in x86_64 (Pentium Dual Core). It's for the app_conference
application.
Im using Centos 4.3 x86_64

libgcc-3.4.5-2
gcc-3.4.5-2
after the compilation part is the makefile

static linking
Has anyone tried or had success statically linking Asterisk? I'd like
to do this to deploy to smaller boxes that don't have the toolchain
and libraries to build the thing.
I've tried using statifier (at sf.net) which claims to take a dynamic
executable and transform it into a static executable. It seemed to
work on my box, but when I tried it on the target box it did this:

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] [compiler-rt] Minix (w.r.t. svn r147606)
Dear all,
I hope this is the right list :). I'd like to submit the attached patch for
committing.
The attached patch are the only required changes to make the latest
compiler-rt build and pass tests (except for 2 currently ignored tests..)
on Minix.

When I load app_txfax.so and/or app_txfax.so; if these are commented

[LLVMdev] OpenBSD. (Was: 1.7 Pre-Release Ready for Testing)
I just added __OpenBSD__ everywhere __FreeBSD__ was being tested (there
were about a dozen places). I suspect we'll have to add one for NetBSD
also one day (even DragonflyBSD?). INT8_MAX and friends ought to be
declared by <stdint.h>. It is on FreeBSD.

[LLVMdev] [Patch] compiler-rt lib/int_endianness.h
Attached is a patch to pull in the correct endian.h file on the BSD'. I
checked all OS' on the defined list and they all require machine
instead of sys. While there I added __Bitrig__ which is a newly
launched OS that uses clang as it's compiler.

I'll Check it out.. is it in the CVS or the release yet.. or how do I apply a patch to it... thanks much for the update.. I'll feel better about the whole thing..OpenBSD is really nice with the pro-police stack and would like to see an alternative to the GCC only compiler chain of tools especially as it is based on a somewhat archaic optiminzation backend and procedural stuff is pretty

gsm codec compile
I was successful in compiling asterisk in raspbien except for the following error If I enable the gsm codec. It appears there is something in the Makefile n this directory that needs to be changed. Probably involving optimization. Not sure why it does not recognize the processor since it is one that is mentioned in the Makefile.? Any help would be appreciated.
