Réf.: Re: Asterisk with UUI support ?
Can you put this patch on line? (I don't think it's too big...) In my mind, the main objective is to create a special field and force its value in chan_capi.c and check wether it goes through asterisk or not... What do you think of that? right, so far, here is what I've done: I succeed in take in a new variable the UUS1 field sent with the connection request for incoming calls. It was quite simple afterall... (I just had to find where the data CMSG->Useruserdata is coming in chan_capi.c) Now I would like to know where this field is instanciated for outgoing calls in order to control this step? I am looking for that but I

SIP Seeding peers from Astdb - jam the console
Hi After going from AST_DATA (RES_DATA) to realtime with mysql-driver my console is jam'ed with SIP Seeding peers from Astdb '000b8201XXXX' at 000b8201XXXX@81.146.XX.XX:35273 for 120 I got arround 4000 sipclients registered at that server and all the sip-client re-register every 120 sec. so the console is totaly fill'ed with SIP Seeding messages. Is it posible to not see

MYSQL_FRIENDS
Hello *'s, Hi, I've just tried to enable MYSQL Friends in CVS HEAD. But i cannot find this option. On wiki i found this. To enable this, you need to edit the Makefile in the channels directory of your source tree and enable MYSQL_FRIENDS. This enables database definition of both IAX2 and SIP friends. Make sure you have the MySQL development kit (libraries) installed before

sip seeding vs registration
does anybody have an idea what the difference and significance of sip seeding and registration is. g Regards Greg Cirino ___________________________________ Cirelle Enterprises Inc. 603-425-2221 www.cirelle.com Web Application Development & Design www.cirelle.net ProSpeed High Speed Dial-up - 6 Times Faster www.cedata.com Web, FTP, Email Hosting Services www.mlsbot.com NNEREN MLS IDX

Fritz ISDN PCI v2 and CAPI
Hi, First, here is my config: Kernel version 2.4.25 on a Fedora distro, Asterisk and a Fritz! Isdn PCI Card (v2). I try to make the CAPI drivers deal with Asterisk but I can't try to figure out to get of this issue. As I see, Fritz modules are integrated with the kernel, so I directly loaded the 'hisax_fcpcipnp' module from it. I install also Capi modules by downloading archives of the

Réf. : Re: Fritz ISDN PCI v2 and CAPI
I tried that but it still doesn't work... I think I don't have the correct approach. Have I to install any ISDN drivers (=modules ?) BEFORE dealing with CAPI ? If yes, why shouldn't I use the hisax drivers (which are kernel ones) instead of fcpci drivers (which doesn't seems to work, by the way...) And finally, how is it possible to link the two modules together? As you can see,

[RFC] expand options of btrfs-set-seeding
Hi Rich, Currently we had btrfs-set-seeding for btrfstune. But btrfstune had more options: usage: btrfstune [options] device -S value positive value will enable seeding, zero to disable, negative is not allowed -r enable extended inode refs -x enable skinny metadata extent refs -f force to clear flags, make sure that you are aware of the dangers If I want to add more options for

Performance hits from seeding the random number generator
What kind of connection delays are people seeing with Ossh 2.2.0p1?? One of the programmers here is seeing delays of up to 25s, which is clearly unacceptable. He's localized the problem to seeding the random number generator - it appears that the _minimum_ number of commands needed to seed the random number generator is 16. On his hosts (for a variety of reasons), many of those commands

Asterisk with UUI support ?
Hi there, Is it possible to manage UUI with asterisk and ISDN (T0 Fritz card). Basically, is it possible to send User to User Information using the D-channel, while making a call?

Seeding non-R RNG with numbers from R's RNG stream
Thank you Duncan and Gabriel. I think that my trivial example was a little too trivial and is causing some confusion. What's happening in the real function I'm writing is... 1. In R: Draw tens-of-thousands of times from a handful to Gamma RVs with different parameters to initialize some variables. (Technically, I'm calling gtools::rdirichlet which calls stats::rgamma) 2. Transfer the

doubts about asterisk configuration from database
hi, I want to complete asterisk configuration from database(MYSQL),now I come across some doubts: 1. http://voip-info.org/tiki-pagehistory.php?page=Asterisk+configuration+from+database&diff2=3 says that "Dynamic 'friends' (Asterisk v1.0.*) and the number of options supported by this 'MySQL_Friends' system is currently very limited",at the same time I find

Help with Realtime & Seeding
Hi All, We have just configured our CVS Head realtime enviorment and we are now recieveing constant messages in the Asterisk output along the lines of ; SIP Seeding Peer from astdb: '2001' at 2001@192.168.1.90:9096 for 60. Can anyone explain this to me ? I have not been able to find much info on it anywhere. Cheers, Callum

MYSQL_FRIENDS and IAX problem

Making Asterisk run on Mysql backend
Hello there, I have configured my asterisk to run on Mysql backend. But the Asterisk was unable to pick the peer details from the database. This is how I configured the Asterisk to run with mysql on the backend. Edit /usr/src/asterisk/channels/Makefile, change it to enable the MYSQL_FRIENDS USE_MYSQL_FRIENDS=1 USE_SIP_MYSQL_FRIENDS=1 cd /usr/src/asterisk make

Seeding non-R RNG with numbers from R's RNG stream
I wouldn't trust the C++ generator to be as good if you seed it this way as if you just seeded it once with your phone number (or any other fixed value) and let it run, because it's probably never been tested to be good when run this way. Is it good enough for the way you plan to use it? Maybe. Duncan Murdoch On 30/07/2020 3:05 p.m., Tommy Jones wrote: > Hi, > > I am

Seeding non-R RNG with numbers from R's RNG stream
Hi, I am constructing a function that does sampling in C++ using a non-R RNG stream for thread safety reasons. This C++ function is wrapped by an R function, which is user facing. The R wrapper does some sampling itself to initialize some variables before passing them off to C++. So that my users do not have to manage two mechanisms to set random seeds, I've constructed a solution (shown

slightly overzealous RNG seeding?
Hello again, I was testing today's SNAP (openssh-SNAP-20000830.tar.gz) in my Solaris 2.6-8 environment, when I found some problems with the ssh2 support. While connecting, it seeds the RNG something like 32 times! And then once connected, it seeds again 2 or 3 times with *every* keystroke! This makes for some slow going. This happens on all of the Solaris boxes I tried. Binary was
