ISDN Cause Code 47 Errors
We fairly recently switched service providers for our 4 PRI circuits. Since that time, we started to notice some failed inbound calls. These calls terminate with an ISDN cause code 47 'resource unavailble'. Most of the time I see this error on the first or second channel on the second span in a trunk group (This is the providers trunk group for hunting, not an Asterisk trunk group). All

Trying out a new version with sangoma card
Hi ! We curently have a centos 5 / asterisk 1.4 server that we have some DTMF problems with. It has a Sangoma A104d card and only port one is used to connect to the PSTN. Port 2 is conencted via a cross-over cable to a RAS for modem access and port 3 is connected for data communication via PPP. Now, I want to freshen this setup to something newer. So I installed a Scientific Linux 6 server,

Sip 1.4.x DTMF detection not working
Hello I have a setup where i have 2 asterisk servers connected over the public internet with plenty of bandwidth, NAT on one side only. If i use IAX between the two *'s dtmf is flawless. If I use SIP, DTMF detection is around 30% or less. I have an exten to dial into and check DTMF: exten => NPANXXxxxx,1,Answer(); (actual number blanked for privacy) exten =>

wine-users digest, Vol 1 #354 - 8 msgs
There was an HL demo, downloaded from Sierra, that was a completely new episode - more like a taste of things to come. I enjoyed playing it, even after I had finished the full game, but was a little disappointed with the ending of the demo. Can't complain for free, though. I suggest you go and buy the 'battle pack' or whatever it's called - HL, OpFor, TFC, and a few other

TA750 + T100P configuration. flashing red alarm on t100p after running modprobe wct1xxp, ztcfg
(to mods: sorry for any extra work I've put you through. Posting from my work account, as proper) Hello all, I'm back. I've got that lucky feeling that this will all work out very soon, and I hope that that is true. The issue: In my * server I have a t100P, connected with a T1 crossover cable to an Adtran TA750 with 2 FXO cards. After I do 'modprobe wct1xxp;ztcfg' the alarm

Polycom 4.1.6 BLF/URL Dialing
I've just deployed several VVX 600's with the Color Expansion Module. And I'm having a minor issue with them. Intermittently when a call comes into a ring group the user is presented with the call pickup option associated with a BLF entry. Not the normal answer/reject option. I've explicitly disabled the call appearance feature that should allow this pop up:

Problem with T100P card in a new chassis
Due to some failed hardware on another platform, I've had to move a T100P card to a different chassis. After this move was completed, I am seeing some strange results on the T100P card that do not display to me any failure mode with which I am familiar. The card comes up, and shows "good" carrier and status, but Asterisk refuses to bring the D-channel up. Calls of course do

T100P Timing Was:T100P/ ZAP / PRI errors
Don & others, Thank you for your answer. The fog maybe lifting ;). The zaptel.conf file has the following in its comments: # # The timing parameter determines the selection of primary, secondary, and # so on sync sources. If this span should be considered a primary sync # source, then give it a value of "1". For a secondary, use "2", and so on. # To not use this as a

Hello, I see that incase of command execution: :fork()" is called twice, in sshd. Once to spin off child sshd from parenat and second from child sshd, to execute command. T100P -->>> TE120P
Hi Folks, I have a T100P ordered from Digium in the past. Its working perfectly fine but I now need to more the server to India (out-sourcing) and we will be getting an E1 line there. Does anyone know if T100P was capable (upgradeable) or swappable so that I could use it with the E1 lines instead? Any pointers to driver/firmware update would be highly appreciated. Thanks. HDLC & T100P
I'm setting up a T1 for both voice and data and was wanting to know the steps involved. I've recompiled zaptel for ZAPATA_NET support and setup my /etc/zaptel.conf: Fxsks=1-10 Nethdlc=11-24 Modprobe wct1xxp works fine and my voice lines work. Now when I use the provided sethdlc, I use the following commands: Sethdlc hdlc0 mode ansi Ifconfig hdlc0 <ipaddress> <network>

FW: HDLC & T100P
I got it figured out now. In case anyone else comes across it - this is what I had to do: Sethdlc hdlc0 mode ansi Ifconfig hdlc0 up ***NO IP INFO SET*** Sethdlc hdlc0 create <dlci number> Ifconfig pvc0 <local ip> pointopoint <remote ip> up Then set your default gateway to the <remote ip> listed in pvc0. That's about it!! Hope it helps! -----Original

Initial Connection Hangup (T100P) and Ringing Failure
I ran into a couple of odd problems with a new Asterisk box I have set up... I have a T100P connected to a channelized T-1 (24ch) to the PSTN. The T-1 is set up properly so far as I know and seems to work perfectly with one exception: When a call comes in, asterisk starts a 'simple switch' for it, goes through my 's' extension progression until it gets to the first Playback

Adtran TA750 & T100P
Hello, So all the pieces are finally here, and I'm ready to play. I remember reading on this list that the connection Channel Bank <-> T100P requires a "reverse cable." Is this a regular Ethernet reverse cable (i.e., only a couple of pairs reversed?) Please help me before I blow something up! Saludos, Jose.

Zhone Configuration with T100P
I have been playing with Asterisks for about 6 months, and have fallen in love with it. I have finally taken the plunge and gotten a T100P and a Zhone Zplex-10B (24FXS) channel bank. I have read everything that I can find on the mailing list, checked wiki, even searched the web with google. I believe that most everything is configured right The drivers load without error, and asterisks

clicking and popping using T100P resolved
I have been struggling for weeks to figure out why I would get clicking and popping with my T100P card used with a TA750 channel bank. It was most obvious during dial tone or other sustained tones, but could also be detected during conversation. For the most part, it was one little click or pop every 3 or 4 seconds, but could be more prolonged. The most annoying thing was that, if a click

T100P positional on PCI bus?
I'm about to install a second T100P card in my asterisk system, and now I'm wondering how the system determines span-1 vs span-2. Does the position on the PCI bus determine this? TIA Mike

possible solution to PRI T100P dropped call issue
To recap: T100P card wouldn't sync with the telco using line side clocking ( span=1,1,0.........) Had to use internal clocking (span=1,0,0.......) zttool showed Tx/Rx Levels as 0/ 1 For the grins of it I replaced the T100P card with another newer card from inventory. This newer card has the same rev on the ASIC / FPGA but doesn't have any of the various jumper headers installed
