Testing Asterisk with PROTOS
A Chairde, I am looking to test my Asterisk server with PROTOS, but having some problems. I am trying commands. The PROTOS tool definitively works, I think I am putting wrong TOURI in ( user@asterisk-server ) , 123456 is number of softphone hanging off switch, not the Asterisk server. Would appreciate some help , and other test advice.

a bug? (PR#968)
--T4sUOijqQbZv57TR Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Dear R, I would like to report what I think is a bug in R. I am running R within emacs on a Digital AlphaStation. See the version information at the end of my R session for details. I also attach a copy of the file that is read in the `read.table' command. Here's my R session, with a few

Tipping Point IPS blocking Asterisk SIP quaility messages
Hi guys, Just wanted to give you a heads up, so you don't end up chasing strange issues... Since early this morning, our Tipping Point IPS is blocking the Asterisk generated SIP Quality messages (the ones which tell you how good or badly reachably a remote SIP server is) Rule 5051: SIP: PROTOS Test Suite INVITE Test Case This filter detects a test case from the PROTOS SIP testing

Use the stringsAsFactors=FALSE argument to read.table when making your data.frame - factors are getting in your way here. Prayer, Maildir and Folders whose names begin with "."
Greetings - I think I've just had one of my fears confirmed: not Dovecot-specific exactly, but it affects how we will use of Prayer (Webmail Software) with Dovecot... Currently our production service uses MBX-format mailboxes with the UW IMAP server; we also use the University of Cambridge "Prayer" software for Webmail. By default Prayer saves its preference settings,

Hello, Here is one way. tdat$D <- ifelse(tdat$B %in% tdat$A, tdat$A[tdat$B], 0) tdat$E <- ifelse(tdat$B %in% tdat$A, tdat$A[tdat$C], 0) Hope this helps, Rui Barradas On 12/13/2017 9:36 PM, Val wrote: > Hi all, > > I have a data frame > tdat <- read.table(textConnection("A B C Y > A12 B03 C04 0.70 > A23 B05 C06 0.05 > A14 B06 C07 1.20 > A25 A23 A12 3.51

setup questions- many users, little use
Hello All, I?m on the technology committee for a fraternity at the University of Illinois. We?re looking into moving from our current ?party line? (one line shared between every two rooms) system to a PBX with voicemail in an effort to lower our monthly phone bill and provide better communication services. We?ve pretty much settled on Asterisk as we do not wish to rewire all of our pots

re: Spatial stats: R vs. Splus
Hello, Could someone tell me whether the spatial statistics module of Splus is worth the rather high price, or whether one could (with reasonable effort) carry out the same things using R and some of its contributed packages. Although we do have Splus (Windows and Unix), we definitely prefer to use R whenever feasible (both for research and teaching). Thanks for developing a superb

Canberra dist and double zeros
Canberra distance is defined in function `dist' (standard library `mva') as sum(|x_i - y_i| / |x_i + y_i|) Obviously this is undefined for cases where both x_i and y_i are zeros. Since double zeros are common in many data sets, this is a nuisance. In our field (from which the distance is coming), it is customary to remove double zeros: contribution to distance is zero when both x_i

MacOS X: update.packages(type="mac.binary") fails (PR#7834)
Dear Mr Moderator, please let me through. I want to reply to my own thread. I once subscribed to this list, but then my subscription was not accepted. Now to the business: The final failure came from missing .install.macbinary() function. I grepped R-patched sourcesand the only instance of .install.macbinary() was the call to the function in R- patched/src/library/utils/R/packages2.R (stupid

Shy Suggestion?
The R-exts manual says about 'Suggests' field in package DESCRIPTION: "The optional `Suggests' field uses the same syntax as `Depends' and lists packages that are not necessarily needed." However, this seems to be a suggestion you cannot refuse. If you suggest packages: (a line from DESCRIPTION): Suggests: MASS, ellipse, rgl, mgcv, akima, lattice This is what happens:

Search with specified charset
I've seen a problem with searching in the Prayer webmail client that turns out to be caused by Prayer insisting on a charset called "ISO-8859-1" and Dovecot, using Solaris iconv, not recognising it (all the Solaris 8 iconv modules appear to be "ISO8859-1" etc. or just "8859-1"). This isn't a problem in Linux: % iconv --list | grep 8859.1/ 8859_1//
