odd behavior - adtran ta 850 + t100p
I've been working with an adtran ta 850 hooked to a t100p pretty much all
day today, and I haven't gotten past configuring zaptel.conf and
zapata.conf. For some reason, when I pick up analog phone hooked up to
the first module of a quad fxs card in the second slot of the ta 850,
asterisk thinks that all four of the fxs modules in that card are going
off hook. If I pick up a phone hooked

Months in alphabetical order rather than chronological order in graph
Greetings
Though I have months in chronological order in my data table, the data
were sampled every other month (i.e., February, April, June, August,
October, December), every time I try to plot them (on the x-axis) they are
plotted in alphabetical order. What am I missing?
Cheers

Sorting a vector by date
Hello out there....
Again I have a problem and I stuck...
How can I sort a vector of dates?
For example I have the vector
a<-ISOdate(2001, 1, 1) + 70*86400*runif(10)
How can this vector be sorted chronological?
And what's the function I should work with to handle these entries?
(in sense of: which(a>2001-01-04) or somehting like that)
Thank you for helping

Convert date to integer
Hello, I have a dataframe containing dates, times and other parameters. The
times have the format "h:m", e.g. 13:00 or 5:30, R classes them as factors.
I want to change the times to integers e.g. 13:00 -> 1300. I tried to use
"chron" to create a chronological object, but it didn't work for the times
(yust for the dates).

Any 24 (or 30) way FXS PCI cards?
It seems to me silly to have a T1/E1 card to connect to a channel bank
when you could just have a 24/30 way FXS card in the slot in the first
place.
Does such a thing exist?
Wouldn't Digium have a lot of customers if they could produce one for
say < $1000 retail?

Sticky results
Hi there,
I have a xapian index whose results are being sorted by a value, with (PHP bindings):
$enquire->set_sort_by_value($sort_data_value);
This is because I want the results returned in chronological order of publication date. However, I now have a need to have certain results be 'sticky' at the top of the resultset, regardless of their publication date. Obviously there are

[EXTERNAL] Is there a new way to search the listserv archives?
>>> I see the link here, but clicking it results in a 404. Before I waste everyone's time posting my question, I really wanted to search to see if it's been solved already.
I don't know of a baked-in official method, but the "site:alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/nut-upsuser/" search modifier should work with both DuckDuckGo and Google.
Example:

I've got two problems with listboxes and selection:
I created a listbox, no problem. Then I bind the Button-1 of the mouse to the listbox to start some things by pressing the mousebutton. The proiblem is that as I click a item of the listbox this error occured:
Error in .Tcl(.Tcl.args(...)) : [tcl] bad listbox index "": must be active, anchor, end, @x,y, or a number.

wxSugar 0.1.15 released
Hi
WxSugar 0.1.15 is now available via gems and download from rubyforge.
This is a minor feature release which adds a couple of new facilities:
* enumerable_controls: treats ListCtrl and ControlWithItems classes,
such as ComboBox, ListBox, CheckListBox as Ruby enumerables
* adds Window#has_style?
The former is meant to give much more rubyish access to the contents of
GUI controls which

"chronological" ordering of factor in lm() and plot()
I am trying to do some basic regression and ANOVA on cycle times (numeric
vectors) across weekdays (character vector), where I have simply labelled my
days as:
days<- c("mon","tue","wed"...etc).
(NOTE: There are actually multiple instances of each day, and the data is
read-in from a .dat file.)
I have no trouble at all with the actual number crunching, It is the

Is there any working way to search multiple indexes?
I''m running from the trunk, and hitting road blocks no matter which way I
attempt
to search across multiple indexes.
I tried a MultiSearcher, but I can''t pass a string for the search query
ms.search "iraq"
TypeError: wrong argument type String (expected Data)
So I tried creating a QueryParser to pass, but I can''t get the fields from

Listbox in R
I am trying to display a set of listboxes in a systematic manner.
For instance, I display Listbox 1, let the user pick the parameters of
interest then destroy it.
Now I display Listbox 2....
and so on.
So in essence I would like to create listboxes in a "for -loop".
When I try to loop - all the listboxes are displayed simultaneously and
nothing works properly - any comment on how to
