X100P callerid ETSI - caller*ID failed checksum
Dear All, I am a newbie about asterisk. I have 1x X100P card 3x Sip phone I got aware of problem, after I saw the caller id on my sip phone. I noticed that if I receive a call from GSM Operator A, I can see caller id. But any other operator, I got no caller id, even my direct PSTN service operator. So at that moment I was using *1.0.9. than I changed to asterisk@home 1.3(1.0.9). I got same

X100P/ATA186 not playing nicely...
Howdy y'all, I am using an ATA-186, through Vonage, connected to my X100P. It works well - except, hanging up... The hangup doesn't register, most of the time, with Asterisk. Are there any known tweaks out there that I should look into? I've noted some have altered dsp.c, and rebuilt. Just curious to see what y'all think. Below is my zapata.conf file:: [channels]

I am running CVS-09/11/03-14:03 on Redhat 9.0 Trying to get call waiting / call waiting callerid working. The setup is: X100P asterisk -> ATA 186 MGCP --> analog phone. What changes to I need to make to my mgcp.conf and extensions.conf file to allow answering of Call waiting calls? And how do you answer call waiting calls with the system. I have usecallerid=yes, hidecallerid=no,

ATA186 & X100P - detect hangup
I have a Vonage acct that uses the Cisco ATA186. Currently, I have the ATA186 plugged into a SPA3000 to act as the FXO port. I installed a X100P card with the idea of replacing the SPA3000. Now, when I plug in the ATA186 into the X100P card and make a call into the system (from cell phone) and hangup when the IVR is playing, Asterisk is not detecting a hangup and keeps looping the IVR. Call waiting on X100P
I have Asterisk setup in a SOHO environment. I have 2 X100P cards at Zap/1 and Zap/2. I have 1 TDM400P card with Zap/3 - Zap/5. I have subscribed to callwaiting, callerid and calleridcallwaiting from Qwest on the 2 PSTN lines - Zap/1 and Zap/2. My problem is when I'm in an active call to the outside thru Zap/1 or Zap/2, I can't pickup the incoming callwaiting call. I can see the

Ang: Re: Dutch (DTMF) caller-ID
Hi all! I am in the same situation here in Sweden, but I just got the X100 card and don t get it to work with DTMF caller ID. Is the only way to solve this to buy a TDM400 card w FXO modules? Is it just a driver question or a HW issue with the X100 card? Where to find dok about the new keywords in conf files like "cidstart=polarity" in zapata.conf? rgds Gunnar >>>

Dutch (DTMF) caller-ID
Hey all, I recently noticed that DTMF caller-ID was implemented in CVS, so I requested the service from my telco (the Dutch KPN) and tried to get it going in Asterisk (current CVS), without success so far. This system has 1 X100P, 2 TDM400P's with 4 FXS-modules each and 2 HFC-PCI ISDN-cards (zaphfc-driver) in it. The analog line I'm trying to get caller-ID working on is obviously on the

call-waiting caller-id
Are there any known issues with call-waiting caller-id for SIP? Caller-ID on the first call works fine, but when the second call comes in, I hear the interrupt tone, but the caller-id doesn't display anything. I have tried this with the Cisco ATA and the SPA-2000. I have also tried two different phones to verify that it wasn't something specific to the phone. Thanks, Stephen

VERY bad sound on S100U -> X100P calls, and caller id problems ...
Hi folks! I'm using an X100P (connected to my phone line) and an S100U, and when I calls out from the phone connected to the S100U it is a very bad sound quality, it "pops" and "jitters" a lot. But internal calls from for example a SIP client to the phone on the S100U sounds good. Calls from an SIP client to the outside world using the X100P also works good! My second

Hi, I hope someone could help me, i have a x100p interface for testing purpose and on each incomming call I redirect the call to handytone 388 atas, the problem comes when i'm during a call and another call comes in, i hear the call waiting beep (comming from the zap channel), but I can't catch the call as usually using flash+2 (my pstn call wait sequence), because when i flash the

X100P with Caller-ID in Australia, anyone?
Hello list, I have an X100P clone card, and I've been trying to get it to receive Telstra Caller-ID without any luck. Hence these two questions:- 1) Will a genuine X100P work? 2) If so, where can I get one in Australia? Cheers, Jon

X100P and BT Caller ID
Hello I was wondering whether anyone has managed to get an X100P card to receive Caller ID information in the UK (connected to a BT line)? I guess that it probably won't work at present because BT sends the CID information before the first ring - hence there is no event to wake up the channel. I can hear it using ztmonitor, but it is far too soon for anything to receive it. According to the

X100P with Caller-ID in Australia,
You require no changes to detect caller id with a x100p card in Au, however most carriers only provide cid as an extra cost option. Your most likely problem is CID is not being sent to you. If you believe you have the caller id being sent to you, Find a caller id box/phone and confirm it is there. In 99% of cases where I have seen people in Au complaining of no caller id, it was because they

Digital Line Distortion
Firstly, the problem... Ever since I installed and setup asterisk, I have had various problems, initially it was echo caused by the ISDN (isdn4linux) card I was using. So, I upgraded to the X101P from digium. I still had echo, so I figured it was also caused by the ATA186 (cisco) I was using. So, I upgraded again to the TDM40B quad FXS card. This solved pretty much all my problems, except

Hello list: I'm not sure what is going on, but I am using: asterisk -stable cvs (november cvs download) SIP channel Cisco ATA186 Zaptel 4-port PRI for PSTN Caller ID is enabled on the cisco ATA and seems to work fine. We do not get caller name at this time over the PRI ... Caller name works fine VoIP to VoIP and for PSTN calls, it displays the calling number like caller ID. But for some

X100P and TDM400P non-USA Caller ID
I am sure that quite a lot of people would like to have Caller ID working with their X100P and TDM400P cards outside of USA. Judging from previous threads this is just a matter of implementing this support in the software driver! So, I was thinking, if we get together and put few $(USA DOLLARS) into a basket, we could then ask Digium to actually properly implement Caller ID for non USA

Serial port DTMF Caller-ID reciever /w scripts for X100P/X101P/Clones....
Since the X100P/X101P/Clone cards does not work in all countries that use DTMF based Caller-ID systems, I've developed a hardware that you connect to a serial port and the PSTN. You then run a perl script "cid_logger.pl" as a daemon, and modify extensions.conf to call an agi script whenever a call comes in, and if it's on the X100 card it will get the caller id information
