busydetect and random hangups
Hi, I'm having random hangup problems with zap channels. If I turn busydetect off in Zapata.conf, * fails completely to detect a user hangup in the middle of a script. On the other hand, if I turn it on, everything works much better, but long calls tend to be hung up without a motive. Any other parameter that I can try? Any #define that I can tweak and recompile? Will callprogress

X100P random hangups.
I have a couple of X100P's in my system and while on calls they just randomly hang up for no reason. I have tried messing with the busydetect and callprogress setting them to yes and no same and still random hangups. Is there another setting I should be looking at? My zap config looks like. context = inbound-work include => extensions signalling

X100P - Busydetect / calls being disconnected - Australia; tip.
Hi All, This isn't really a question, but it's an issue I experienced that was driving me crazy for a few days, so I thought it might be good for the archives. Basically what was happening was everytime a particular customer called (long distance), the line would disconnect immediately after answering. I thought it might have been the phone, so I swapped the phone with another - still

Random dropped calls...
I have a customer running Asterisk 1.2.13 with Zaptel 1.2.11 that is having calls dropped. Sometimes you can stay on the phone for a long time and sometimes the call is dropped within a minute. There are 9 lines connected to 3 TDM04B cards. The Panasonic Pbx we replaced did not have this problem. There are 8 SIP phones and 16 analog phones connected to two Astribank-8 units and everyone

Problem with busydetect and cell phones
I have a very strange problem I'm hoping someone has encountered already. I've scoured the internet for an answer to this one. My phone company provides no disconnect supervision. Hence I'm forced to use the busydetect feature. I have a TDM400 with two FXO ports. If I call from an internal extension to a landline and then hangup the landline Asterisk detects the busy signal

Unpredictables Hangups
Hello all, i'm experiencing a list of unpredictables hangup on SIP phones using a PRI E100P Card. All i can see in logs is " WARNING[81931]: File chan_zap.c, Line 5402 (zt_pri_error): PRI: Read on 37 failed: Unknown error 500" I receive a lot of these errors in asterisk/messages. It doesn't seem to be strictly linked to hangups, since i have dozen of these messages per

X100P and NTL (ex Cable + Wireless)
Firstly, let me just say I am new to asterisk and if anything I've said is covered in an FAQ or in previous posts I apologise but I have tried searching and I've attempted a few of the things I found but they didn't help. Has anybody got any experience using an X100P on an NTL phone line in the UK (I'm in an ex Cable & Wireless area if that makes any difference). The

New busydetect routines for analog channels (FXO mostly)
Hello, I've commited the new busydetect routine to CVS. You need to cvs update asterisk of course and then choose it in asterisk/Makefile and recompile asterisk. All you X100P users that had the problems with false hangups or the card not being able to detect the busy tone please check that. In the asterisk/Makefile you need to find a line BUSYDETECT = and uncomment what you want/ comment

Zap call bridge drops randomly
Hello, We have a call redirection system setup inhouse to send calls from an incoming line on a T1 to an external dialed out number: Zap(call comes in) -> Asterisk -> Zap(call dials out) The call comes in on a Robbed-bit T1 (d4/ami EM Wink) and goes out on a PRI. We are using Asterisk release 1.0.5 Randomly the calls will drop less than a minute into the call. The Debug messages at the

Call waiting on X100P
I have Asterisk setup in a SOHO environment. I have 2 X100P cards at Zap/1 and Zap/2. I have 1 TDM400P card with Zap/3 - Zap/5. I have subscribed to callwaiting, callerid and calleridcallwaiting from Qwest on the 2 PSTN lines - Zap/1 and Zap/2. My problem is when I'm in an active call to the outside thru Zap/1 or Zap/2, I can't pickup the incoming callwaiting call. I can see the

TDM400P and AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR dropping calls
Hi, I had been using 4 X100P cards in my Asterisk box, but 2 of them were sharing an interrupt. Therefore, periodically I would hear beeps and clicks that I had assumed were a result of this. So, I ordered a TDM400P with 4 FXO modules and installed it in the box last night. Today, we've had nothing but problems with it dropping calls. I installed the latest CVS of everything, and we've

x100p & Asterisk 1.4.17 and Zaptel 1.4.7
I am finding that with the combination above, the zap channel will hang up, though the call has hung up. I am make all changes in my zapata.conf file that I can find on the internet with nothing fixing this issue. I have added busydetect=yes, busycount=6, and made sure that the signalling is set for fxs_ks these setting worked fine with zaptel 1.2 but not with the newest zaptel drivers.

x100p wcfxo hangup on outgoing calss
Hi, Im getting mad with this error, I have a x100p installed with wcfxo module loaded perfectly, I can receive incoming calls and detect very good the hangup for incoming calls. But for outgoing calls its a mess. When I place a call for outgoing, i heard the ringing, my cell or phone rings and when I pick up the phone it hangs: -- Called g1/91xxxxxxx -- Hungup

Random Hangups/Disconnects
Well, I thought and hoped my issue of random hangups on our TDM400P were related to busydetect=yes in zapata.conf. The behavior of a call being hungup has not changed, however, since setting the busydetect option to 'no'. Again, the only affected user is my loud talker... What are some causes/solutions to seemingly random call disconnects on Zap channels that people have seen? I have

problems with analog interface to PBX
Folks, For the last few days I've been trying to experiment with a Panasonic PBX and an X100P but have run into quite a few problems which I am not sure if they can be solved with this type of card (how about TDM01B?) 1) I wanted to use *'s IVR capabilities, so I routed the calls to the extension where the x100p was connected to. Asterisk should answer the call, playback a message,
