FXO PCI Master abort
So I'm all excited, ready to install Trixbox at home. Purchased my X100p card installed in a computer. I run Trixbox setup and boom I get this error message "FXO PCI Master abort" It repaets across the screen and I have to reboot. When I reboot the system hangs at adding hardware. Loading wcfxo and the system will not go any further. If anyone has an idea of something to try let me

TDM400P FXO - Any one got it working well in UK without Hangup problems
Hi Guys, I recently got a TDM400P 4 FXO for use in the UK, this at the time seemed like a good idea as I had good results with an X100P clone. Installation went great and call clarity is excellent no echo like I had on the clone card. My problems start with detecting hanging up the line. If a person calls into the system and speaks to me on a SIP phone when I hang up the call clears

intel 536 ep as fxo -> possible?
Hi, Sorry for keep hammering the list with this annoying question. Can we use Intel 536 ep (not 537ep that is in wiki) as x100p clone? I know I've asked it in this list a couple days ago but none responded so far and I'm getting frustrated pairing it with asterisk as the zaptel driver could not detect it. I just need more information before I throw this intel 536 EP to the garbage can

External fax modem takeover of fxo?
Given all the issues with the fax DSP code and reliability, I'm looking into the option of using an external fax modem instead of trying to shoehorn asterisk into handling faxes properly... I'm thinking of hooking up the faxmodem to the line directly, then hooking the X100P to the modem's Phone port. Can I enable fax detection and use the fax extension to spawn an external command

FXS->FXO Converter??
Hi guys! I bought an device that it is used to connect two PBX, two modems or two phones. It has two RJ11 connections. If you plug two phones and pickup one the other one will ring. I am trying to use this device as a FXS to FXO converter with a X100P Clone. I plugged one end at the modem and the other one with a phone. The problem is that when I load the wcfxo module this device thinks

Echo: X100P vs. Cisco FXO cards
I get echo on my X100P for about 15 seconds then it disappears. Believe me, when I get a chance I'm going to tweak it since my wife nags me about it. I converted my house over to *. My setup: Compaq Deskpro EN SFF P3 500 Dual NIC for real IP and internal IP X100P Card for PSTN. Cisco ATA186 (two cordless phones for the old lady) Cisco 7960 Phone Cisco 2621 w/ 2 FXO's and 2 FXS (Fax is

Cheap FXO Card?
I have many of the Intel PCI modems in the field working for some time, but I am trying to find a source for more of them. IMO places like x100p.com are a rip off -- $40 for a PCI modem? I recall getting the AMI modems a few years ago for < $10..... So does anyone know where I can find the PCI WinModem that is detected as X100P or X101P for a better price?

Norstar Integration with Asterisk via FXO or BRI ISDN
Hi, I have a legacy Norstar system that I'm looking into integrating with my Asterisk setup. My first attempts have worked, which involves a Wildcard X100P FXO card in the * box connected to the Internal ATA (FXS port) on the Norstar system. Calling from SIP -> Norstar works fine, since the SIP caller initiated the call and generally will be sane enough to hangup the phone when

Problems with zaptel.conf
Hello. I am new to Asterisk but I have been reading like for a month all de documentation and tutorials that i have found. Most of them from de voip-info.org. Recently I set up an Asterisk server based on Debian 'Sarge' 3.1. Everthing was looking fine. I even locate an old modem that would work like a X100P Clone (an Ambient MD3200) and after compiling and installing zaptel it is

Echo on Zaptel FXO :(
Hi All, I've got an MD3200 modem which is working as a Zaptel FXO interface for Asterisk (X100P clone I believe). It seems to work, but on incoming or outgoing calls I can hear the other party ok but when I speak, I hear my voice echo back at me (quite quietly but it's distracting!) on everything I say. The other party doesn't seem to hear the echo - they just say I sound a bit quiet.

New TDM04B 4-port FXO card problems
Just installed the new 4-port FXO card and moved two pstn lines from existing x100p cards to ports on the FXO card. All zapata.conf entries that were functional on the x100p's were copied to the new FXO channels (including callprogress=no). Observations thus far: 1. asterisk will spontanously decide a pstn call has arrived, and ring the sip phone designated in the dailplan. Verified

fxo connection in the UK
Thank you very much for this hint. My apologies that I messed up a thread for my post - I had a message open and simply clicked on the link ... slap slap. Would anyone know of a better choice to multiplex three fxo lines into an asterisk box? I can still use three Digium X100P cards, but methinks, a seperate unit would be better. Thanks again, Peter >> I am located in the UK and

Prompts and sound quality of the X100P card (FXO card)
Hi We are trying to get better sound quality out of the prompts on our Asterisk system. We had some new ones made by thevoice.digium.com and they are in WAV format instead of the default GSM format on the Asterisk server. The problem is, when you dial in to the server using the FXO card (X100P) you really can't tell the difference between the WAV prompt and the GSM prompt, however, if you
